Zahara Jolie-Pitt Headed To Spelman College, Angelina Jolie 'Electric Slides' To Celebrate

Zahara Jolie-Pitt got accepted to Spelman college and “it’s electric”, according to mom Angelina Jolie who was seen throwing down like she’s at the cookout, during a celebration that welcomes new students to the school.

The 17-year-old was seen on the college campus mingling with fellow new students ahead of the fall school year. In the photo, Zahara is all smiles with a few students, some donning the College’s sweatshirt.

Now we all know that Jolie is protective of her babies and it is rare that she shares personal milestones with them but this one was typical ‘proud mom’ energy and she just couldn’t resist celebrating her daughter.

“Zahara with her Spelman sisters! Congratulations to all new students starting this year. A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl” wrote the actress alongside the photo shared on Instagram.

The actress shared the photo of her daughter but she didn’t share how much fun she had at that same celebration. The video below is of Jolie attempting the electric slide a popular dance that many African Americans partake in. The two-step looks simple but it requires hella rhythm and we commend mommy Angelina for braving it.

As you can see, it took her some time to catch onto the moves, but she was guided by fellow students and their parents as she smiled her way through it all.  Jolie was so playful about the dance she forearm bumped fellow parents and embraced Zahara while they both laughed at her mom’s attempts.

Typically, the roles are reversed, and Zahara is the one supporting her mom at Hollywood events, most recently at several premieres for the marvel film Eternals.  The two have also been travelling alone together this summer.

They were spotted in Rome at the Vatican Museum. They were also spotted around Italy shopping hand in hand. Something tells us, these trips are intentional, mommy’s little girl is headed to college. It’s kind of a big deal. The comment section of the post for the video shared on TheShadeRoom.com is on fire with fans insinuating that Jolie is celebrating her recent big win over ex-husband Brad Pitt.

The writer/producer has been going back and forth with Pitt over their French winery, Chateau Miraval. She reportedly won the right to sell her portion of the winery regardless of Pitt agreeing to it or not.

Fans are accusing the mom of seven of sneakily celebrating her win over Pitt with the little two-step before realizing she may not have the rhythm to keep up. “Angelina got up out that dance line quick lol she said “y’all got it.”

Others praise Jolie for “allowing” and “encouraging” her daughter to attend an HBCU, pointing out that she will experience life like she never has before!  Most people that attend an HBCU speak so highly of their experience.

If this little dance and good time are any indications of what’s to come, Zahara will be just fine.
