Earlier this month, Del Rey claims that he returned to her home on July 5, 2022, and left a bag for her at her gate. Among the items contained in the bag was “a handwritten letter from Mr. Everardo to me that was incredibly disturbing and indicated his desire to see me again,” according to the docs.

Things took a turn for the worse on July 12, when the “Young and Beautiful” singer claims he sent a text message to her sister, Caroline. She says that he had also sent her text messages back in February, but these messages contained his name and GPS location, which her security team was able to verify. Del Rey filed for a restraining order two days later.

Lana Del Rey claims she’s never communicated with him or even met him before. “There is absolutely no reason for him to be attempting to contact me or my sister, or to be approaching my home,” she wrote.

“I am fearful for my safety and for the safety of my family because, among other things, Mr. Everardo broke into my home, stole my car, came to my home again to leave me a disturbing letter and other bizarre materials, and sent and continues to send harassing and threatening messages to me and my family,” she continued.

The restraining order expires at the date of their hearing next Friday, August 5, 2022.
