Rob Lowe Pens Emotional Post For Wife Sheryl Berkoff On 31st Anniversary 

Renowned actor, director, and producer Rob Lowe just celebrated his 31st marriage anniversary with his wife, Sheryl Berkoff. The duo married in 1991 after meeting each other for the second time on the set of one of the director's movies. 

Before then, friends of the couple had already set them up on a blind date; however, things didn't work out. Berkoff went on to date one of Lowe's co-stars before they met again in 1990. They have two children, and life for the lovebirds seems like it couldn't be better. 

In like fashion to his previous posts about Berkoff, Lowe wrote a sweet message to her along with a picture to celebrate their anniversary. He said her affection for him changed his world and called her his "partner in love for life."

Lowe had only good things to say about his wife Berkoff during their 31st anniversary. On Friday, the 58-year-old posted a picture of his wife on his Instagram page to mark the occasion and attached a loving message to the post. 

He wrote, "Happy 31st Anniversary, baby. Your love has made my world. You are as beautiful, knowledgeable, fascinating, kind, and hilarious as you were so many glorious years ago. Partners in love for life!!"

Berkoff wrote a similarly loving message alongside a picture of her and her husband of 31 years. The caption read, "Love is always Celebrating 31 years. Blessed and grateful. Happy Anniversary xoxo."

The couple got married as early as 1991 after meeting on the set of "Bad Influence," Lowe's 1990 erotic thriller. They currently have two sons; the first, Matthew Edward Lowe, is 29, while the second, John Owen Lowe, is 27. 

Lowe made a similar post in June to commemorate his wife's 61st birthday. The "9-1-1: Lone Star" actor posted a picture of the jewelry designer on Instagram with the caption, "Happy Birthday to the love of my life." 

He also appeared in an earlier interview with People. Lowe revealed that from the onset of his relationship with Berkoff, he saw something in her and knew they would be great together. He recalled, "I had the feeling that if I was ever going to be able to make it work with anybody, it was Sheryl."

Lowe further revealed that his wife saw him better than anyone ever did, and he was grateful she gave him a chance. He added, "I still think she's the hottest, sexiest, most beautiful, insane, complicated, entertaining person that I know, in addition to being a great mother."

While Lowe and Berkoff hit it off in 1990, they first met in 1983 after some friends set them up on a blind date. Neither of them wanted a relationship at that time, so they parted ways. 

Berkoff went on to date Lowe's co-star, Keanu Reeves, but they only lasted for a short while. She met Lowe again as the makeup artist on his movie set, and at the time, the 58-year-old was recovering from substance abuse. 

In a 2021 interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actor revealed that his wife was the one that helped him get out of that period. Lowe said, "[Berkoff] may have saved my life, really. I mean, she met me when I was at the end of my '80s run of wild boy craziness, and she was worth changing my life for."

Berkoff's job as a makeup artist allowed her to meet and become fast friends with several celebrities, one of which was Gwyneth Paltrow. The actress spoke about how they first met in an episode of the "Literally With Rob Lowe" podcast. 

According to the "Iron Man" star, the duo met when she was 15 or 16 while Berkoff worked on one of Paltrow's mother's films. 

The meeting also included Berkoff giving the young star some pointers on how to perform oral sex. Paltrow recalled, "I met Sheryl, and I was, like, immediately obsessed with her."

She continued, "She was so cool. She knew that I was sneaking cigarettes, and she would come smoke with me behind the trailer. And she taught me how to give a blow job, and you know, all the classic Sheryl stuff."
