Taylor Swift Parties With Selena Gomez As She Turns 30!

Singer Taylor Swift was there to make sure longtime friend Selena Gomez had an amazing 30th birthday.

Just after midnight on Saturday, July 23, the "Lose You To Love Me" singer posted two photos with the "Wildest Dreams" singer to celebrate as she turned 30 on Friday, July 22.

On Friday, July 22, Selena Gomez celebrated her 30th birthday and BFF Taylor Swift was right there to celebrate with her! The "Wizards of Waverly Place" star shared two photos with her 338 million Instagram followers, showing the two cuddled up together for a quaint birthday dinner.

According to Just Jared, Selena rocked a white dress as she stopped in Topanga at the Inn of the Seventh Ray with the "Red" singer before heading to another birthday dinner in Malibu at the popular Japanese restaurant, Nobu.

A witness told the outlet that “Selena and Taylor looked so cute together celebrating,” adding, “They were eating at this really beautiful rustic elegant restaurant in Topanga called Inn of the Seventh Ray.”

The "Only Murders in the Building" star wrote, "30, nerdy and worthy" in the caption of the Instagram post. In the first photo, Selena has one of her arms wrapped around her BFF as Taylor holds up three fingers in one hand and makes a "zero" shape with the other to represent the "Ice Cream" singer turning 30.

In the second image, Taylor turns to the camera, smirks, and flashes a thumbs up, while Selena can be seen laughing. There's a large wrapped gift in her lap, along with a card.

Selena Gomez donned an adorable white dress with flowing sleeves for the evening and had her black hair styled in an up-do as she accessorized with dangling earrings. The "Betty" singer kept her blonde hair in two long braids flowing over her shoulder as she donned a patterned red dress with puffy sleeves.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Texas native said "I am happy to be getting older," adding, "I find that my toleration for any sort of discomfort, usually disrespect or whatever, even just unnecessary stuff — I feel so glad that it's not taking over me anymore."

"My emotions are mine and I am allowed to feel them however I want to feel them," she continued. "But I am having a party because I was like, 'You know what? All my friends back home are married with kids, so I'm just gonna throw my own party.'"

ExtraTV also wished her a happy birthday with a short clip of Selena talking about her 30th birthday. "I have no idea what to expect. Getting older is weird but I love it," she said of turning 30. "I'm finding out new things about myself... honestly, I enjoy getting older, so here's to 30."

Fans were surprised to hear that Taylor Swift managed to attend Selena Gomez's birthday, considering how recently she was just in London.

Earlier this week, the "Cruel Summer" singer became a fourth Haim sister. The HAIM band is comprised of sisters Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim. According to Pitchfork, the sisters have been wearing the same custom Louis Vuitton leather pants throughout their One More Haim Tour, and Swifties went nuts to see the "Bad Blood" singer wearing the same iconic leather pants as well.

While on stage, the group performed a mash-up of some of their greatest hits: Fearless' "Love Story" and Women in Music Pt. III's "Gasoline."

In 2021, the "Delicate" singer had even lent her vocals to a new remix of "Gasoline." The version featuring the signature vocals of Taylor Swift can be heard in the video below.

Their first collaboration was on Taylor's ninth studio album, Evermore, released on December 11, 2020, through Republic Records. Evermore dropped less than five months after Taylor's eighth studio album, Folklore, a sister album to Taylor's latest record.

HAIM's 2022 tour is scheduled to wrap up in San Diego, California next week.

Fans have their fingers crossed that Taylor has been bitten by the performing bug again, as she admitted, "I haven't been on stage for a long time. It's nice to be back."

Taylor hasn't performed a major tour in a while, but the Dallas performance during her Reputation tour is currently available to stream on Netflix.
