Jill Duggar Breaks Instagram Hiatus With First Photo Of Newborn Son!

Jill Duggar Dillard is officially back on Instagram with the most adorable picture of her newborn son.

As you may know, the tot is her third child she shares with Derick Michael Dillard, whom she married in June 2014. The couple also has two other boys along with their infant son.

Jill was all 'mom vibes' as she excitedly announced her return to the social media platform and re-shared the news of her baby's birth with a cute picture for those who missed the update on her blog.

The May-born TV personality could not help but feel gladness as she made a comeback to Instagram, which was also perfect timing to announce her newborn's birth.

She uploaded a snap of her infant child laying in a cot and donning a brown, lined onesie. He appeared to be awake with his head positioned sideways as the shot was taken.

Jill began her Instagram message below the image with "Hey! We are finally back on Instagram after being locked down & unable to post for a while!"

She then added the news and details of her son's birth, stating, "In case you missed our blog post last week, "Freddy" Frederick Michael Dillard is here!"

According to the doting mother, Freddy was born on July 7 of this year at 5:16 pm and measured 7lbs. 6oz. and was 20 inches long.

It is worth knowing that his name "Frederick" means "Peaceful Ruler" while his other name "Michael" means "Gift from God."

Jill further elaborated on the significance of her son's names which held "special meaning" to the family as it was a combination of her husband Derick's name and Derick's father's name.

In her words, Frederick was Derick's name with "Fre" added to the front to create "Fre-derick," which was also a variation of her spouse's late dad's name, Rick.

She expressed how excited she and her husband were to incorporate his and his dad's name by adding the three letters to the beginning of Derick's name.

The lovely TLC star then made another revelation about Freddy's birth, stating that he was scheduled to arrive later in July; however, he decided to come a little early, coinciding with the day before his brother Samuel's birthday.

This made her have her planned C-section a bit earlier than initially set, and luckily, both "mom and baby are healthy" and "happy to be home together."

Jill concluded the detailed caption with "check out our blog for NEW PICTURES of the baby! Dillard family. c o m," alongside several family hashtags.

There were indeed "new pictures" of the newborn on the Dillard Family blog, and the collection included several other snaps of the baby with his older brothers.

The update also showed that the family was totally in love with their latest addition and loved taking pictures of him with his siblings donning the same outfits they wore for Freddy's pregnancy announcement shoot.

The Dillards appreciated those who supported them during the pregnancy and admitted they were lucky to have such assistance during "this time of transition and recovery."

Speaking of the "new pictures," there were fifteen in total, with some showing the three brothers donning gray striped onesies and others displaying the boys rocking shirts that had "big," "middle," and "little," signifying their position as siblings.

Around the period of Freddy's birth, The Blast shared details about the great news from the Dillards' blog post showing a similar message to Jill's new Instagram post about her return to the platform.

It should also be noted that Freddy was born several months after the family announced they had suffered a miscarriage last October.

The "Counting On" star released a statement about the unfortunate loss, stating that she miscarried a few days after finding out she was expecting a third baby, the family named River Bliss Dillard.

Fortunately, they were eventually blessed with little Freddy, and they broke the news of her pregnancy earlier this year, which The Blast reported.

Shortly after sharing the news, Jill and Derick revealed their baby's gender, which they had initially planned to find out before COVID hit their family.

Nevertheless, it was "a blessing in disguise" as the family got to be together for the gender reveal appointment, and they "all found out that another little boy would be joining the Dillard tribe."
