When Hayek was not stealing hearts with her stunning looks, the Mexican-American actress worked alongside her French billionaire husband François-Henri Pinault to end gender-based violence.

Under the chairmanship of the "Wild Wild West" star's partner, the Kering Foundation was created in 2008 as the charity branch of the Kering luxury conglomerate.

The organization focused on combating violence against women by creating awareness and supporting victims through partnerships with local NGOs and spearheading numerous worldwide campaigns.

As an avid supporter of ending the discrimination against women and immigrants, Hayek served as a core member of the foundation's committee. Now, her on-screen husband has joined the humanitarian team.

For the organization's first-ever Caring for Women Dinner, scheduled on September 15 in New York City, the Hollywood sensations were coming together to raise funds for the charity.

The upcoming event shall be hosted by CNN's news anchor Anderson Cooper while co-chaired by Gisele Bündchen, Julie Mehretu, and Gloria Steinem alongside "The Hitman's Bodyguard" co-stars and their respective spouses.

All proceeds from the event will go to three of the Kering Foundation partner organizations, namely the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), Ms. Foundation For Women, and Global Fund For Women.

The NNEDV represented 56 states in the US and territorial coalitions to create awareness and support for domestic violence victims, making this organization the leading voice for survivors.

Profits raised at the dinner would be used to fund the company's WomensLaw Email Hotline and WomensLaw.org. These two services provided free information on topics such as immigration, custody, divorce, gun laws, and legal advice.

Similarly, the Ms. Foundation for Women focused on raising the capacity of females by investing in startup organizations and advancing significant "social, cultural and economic changes" for the gender.

Funds from the dinner shall support the foundation's Girls of Color Initiative, which provides various opportunities to girls of color being discriminated against in the US.

Finally, the Global Fund for Women was created to empower the female gender and all marginalized people across the world. The support from the Kering Foundation's dinner would be used in the Global Fund for Women Crisis.

In a statement, the "Desperado" actress's husband explained that the upcoming charity event marked a crucial step in his foundation's mission to create a "physical and psychological" safe world for all women.

The French billionaire said, "The Caring for Women Dinner represents a milestone in our 14-year history of partnering with front-line organizations that support women survivors to escape violence and rebuild their lives."

In the coming weeks, more details about the dinner, such as the expected performers and celebrity guests, will be announced.

As reported by PEOPLE, Hayek took her role in the "Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard" seriously, especially when it came to cursing.

During an appearance on "The Tonight Show," the 55-year-old Mexican-American revealed that she practiced the foul-mouthed dialogue before shooting her scenes with Jackson.

"It's fun, but it was very intimidating at the beginning," the mother-of-one confessed, noting that she felt like Robert De Niro in "Taxi Driver" movie whenever she practiced swearing in front of a mirror.

When the show's host asked if the frequent cursing had influenced the Oscar nominee's authentic self, the "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" star confirmed it did.

According to Hayek, whenever she accidentally said something she shouldn't have, she would blame it on Sonia, her character from the movie.

This problem caused the "Django Unchained" actor to stop talking for  "almost a year" at school after he was severely bullied.
