There were plenty of great ways to ring in the New Year, and many of them began with starting a certain movie or TV show at a specific time. For "Friends" fans, there was a line in "The One With the Cake" where Chandler is filming a video message to Ross and Rachel's daughter Emma that she'll get to watch on her 18th birthday.

In the video message, he mentions that the year is now 2020, which led many to think that episode was the best way to ring in the new decade.

Now, Noelle Sheldon, the actress who played Baby Emma in the episode all those years ago, has offered a response to the joke. It was a great way for the actress to ring in the New Year, and "Friends" fans ate it up.

"Just woke up from the best nap of all time, happy 2020!! (ft. my poorly done photoshop)," Sheldon wrote on Instagram. "Hope everyone has an excellent year full of family, friends, and laughter!!" It's a sweet message, but also a great joke.

The caption accompanied a photo on Sheldon holding a Central Perk cup. The actress had also photoshopped herself so that she was on the Central Perk set.

Sheldon's caption was a reference to a line from Chandler's video message. "Hi, Emma," Chandler said in his video. "It's the year 2020. Are you still enjoying your nap?" Chandler is upset throughout the episode because he planned a romantic getaway with Monica, and Emma's birthday party delays their departure from New York City.

"We're Aunt Monica and Uncle Chandler, by the way," Monica adds. "You may not recognize us because we haven't spoken to your parents in 17 years!"

"We used to be married, but then we missed a weekend away together and things kind of unraveled," Chandler says. "Because of you!"

Sheldon's joke is a perfect response suggesting that yes, she has been napping since the episode aired in 2003. Sheldon and her twin sister Cali played Emma throughout the last two seasons of the show.

More recent, both twins were featured in Jordan Peele's "Us." In a 2015 interview, Sheldon said she didn't realize how prominent her role on "Friends" was until she turned 10. At the time, both twins said they wanted to keep acting.

"Our friends think it's really cool because they think we're famous," Noelle told ET. "I particularly don't think we're famous or anything because we were babies so, people aren't going to say, 'Oh you're baby Emma from Friends.' But they think it's really cool because they think we're famous."
