Wilmer Valderrama is officially off the market. He proposed to model Amanada Pacheco on New Year's Day after only 8 months of dating. "That '70s Show" star famously dated Demi Lovato for 6 years before calling it quits in 2016. Following the singer's overdose in 2018, Wilmer Valderrama rushed to her hospital bedside and fans were hoping they'd rekindle their romance. Now, Lovatics everywhere are devastated over his engagement news and are reacting to his Instagram post with negativity.
Wilmer Valderrama announced his engagement late Wednesday night on social media. Posting a photo showing him on bended knee with the ocean behind him, he's seen holding up a box with a ring while tagging the location La Jolla, San Diego. “'It’s just us now' 01-01-2020," he captioned the engagement picture. Amanda Pacheco posted the snap too and included another photo of her diamond. Showing a close-up of her teardrop-shaped ring, the model paired her pictures with the same caption and added an engagement ring emoji.
The duo has only been dating for less than one year. Wilmer Valderrama and Amanda Pacheco made their relationship official when he took her as his date to Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's summer wedding in France. Demi Lovato's fans were hoping they were just a fling, but clearly that's not the case. After news spread that Wilmer popped the question, Lovatics took to social media to describe how their dreams of a reunion between the actor and Demi are now shaddered.
"So apparently Wilmer Valderrama is NOT getting married to Demi Lovato so excuse me while I cry for the rest of the night," one fan on Twitter wrote. "I know Demi wanted that proposal from Wilmer after 6 years and now he proposed to his girlfriend after a year. That man ain’t right for doing my girl like that," said another.
