Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey, Netflix's very own love couple, recently revealed that attending couples therapy regularly has helped them become better parents. Nick and Vanessa have three kids, Camden, Brooklyn, and Phoenix, whom they love very much and regularly show off on their social media.
The couple recently celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary with the cutest Instagram posts. During an interview with Rachel Paula Abrahamson from Today, Nick credited couple therapy for allowing them to survive this long and strengthening their relationship with each other and their kids.

Nick Lachey Called Couples Therapy 'Important'
During his interview with Today, Nick spoke about how couples therapy has been a big part of his and Vanessa's relationship. He said, "We went before we got married, and we still go to this day. I think that's an important part of maintaining a strong relationship."
The 48-year-old TV host explained that the therapy helped them become better listeners and taught them how to communicate better and give each other helpful feedback. He also said that the therapy sessions have positively impacted their three kids.
He said, "Your kids are absorbing your energy and your vibe, and if it's tense and it's not working, they're going to pick up on that. That's detrimental to them. The healthier you are as a couple, the healthier you are going to be as parents."
Nick Lachey Said They Still Have Fights
Nick and Vanessa currently co-host Netflix's "Love is Blind" show, where they guide singles into meeting their perfect match, all without seeing each others' faces. During the interview, he also admitted that despite the therapy, he and Vanessa still have occasional fights and disagreements.
He said, "Disagreements are part of any relationship — whether it's a friendship or a marriage. What matters is how you reconcile those disagreements. You need [to] treat each other with respect even when you don't see eye-to-eye on something. You want to set a good example for your kids."
He compared managing personal relationships to playing sports games, saying that the similarity is that athletes do everything within their power to be the best in their sport. He said, "Marriage is challenging — and getting sound advice from an impartial third party is one of the healthiest things you could possibly do."
Nick Was Married Before He Met Vanessa
Before Nick met and married Vanessa, he was married to singer Jessica Simpson for three years, from 2002 to 2005. The pair even had a reality show covering the early days of their marriage. The show was called "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica" and was arguably the thing that catapulted both Nick and Jessica into mainstream fame.
In April 2006, about a year after his divorce, Vanessa was featured in the video for one of Nick's songs, "What's Left of Me." During an interview with Billboard magazine in 2017, she revealed that the video was the very beginning of their relationship.
By the summer of 2006, Nick and Vanessa started dating, and four years later, he proposed to her. In July 2011, the couple got married at a small private ceremony on a private island in the Caribbean. A TLC special titled "Nick & Vanessa's Dream Wedding" documented the ceremony.
