Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian are expecting their second child together.
The baby was conceived in November and is being carried via surrogate.
While Khloe and Tristan were preparing for a second child together, Maralee Nichols was about to give birth to his third child.

She exposed the NBA player for cheating on the Good American co-founder and getting her pregnant.
And then came the infamous paternity scandal.
So, how is Nichols handling the news that he is about to become a father for a fourth time with his ex-girlfriend?
Well, according to Us Weekly the fitness influencer is staying focused on their son Theo.
“She’s truly focused on raising Theo,” the insider spilled to Us Weekly. Nichols is also making “navigating motherhood as a single mom” her main priority.

What’s really sad is that Tristan has been a non-existent father to Theo.
She’s accused him of not supporting their child and neglecting to pay child support.
According to a statement given by her representative, the mother-of-one cleared the air on reports that the NBA personality was paying child support.
It was being reported the basketball player was paying thousands in child support, but that wasn’t the case, at least for Nichols.
In the statement given to PEOPLE on February 15, the spokesperson alleged that Thompson was an absent father in his newest son’s life, stating: “Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support their son. He has not made any attempt to meet their son, nor has he provided any financial assistance.”
The source then added, “In the future, we hope that reporters covering this situation contact us to confirm any facts before publishing.”
Tristan tried to deny he was the father and filed a lawsuit against Nichols in Texas; however, a paternity test confirmed he was the father. A judge in Texas threw out his lawsuit.
Nichols sued Tristan in the state of California which was upheld.

When the paternity test came back positive, he issued two apologies to his social media.
“Today, paternity test results revealed that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son,” he wrote. “I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”
He followed it up with an exclusive apology to Khloe.
“Khloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view. You. I have the utmost respect and love for you regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry,” he wrote.
A source exclusively revealed to Page Six, “Khloé decided not to respond back publicly, but privately she let him know she appreciated the message. She is taking the high road, and while she will never, ever get back with him, Khloé really wants Tristan to be a good father to [their daughter] True, and for him to be a big part of their daughter’s life.”
