She dropped the hit tune from her upcoming album on June 21 and fans worldwide have been jamming to it non-stop. In her debut post, Beyoncé did a mash-up of TikTokers vibing to "BREAK MY SOUL."
Among the fans featured were celebrities like Cardi B and choreographer tWitch, dancing to the song. Another user gushed, "imagine being in Beyoncé's first Tik Tok post," while another added, "All she did was write a caption. I'm literally convulsing omg?"
Apart from dedicating her first TikTok to her fans, Beyoncé made her entire catalog available to be used as sounds for TikTokers.
Although this is the "Daddy Lessons" songstress' first TikTok post, this isn't her first time on the platform. She first joined TikTok in December 2021 but didn't post anything until now.
The music mogul boasts 3.5 million followers on Tik Tok, 268 million followers on Instagram, and 15.5 million followers on Twitter.
The 'Single Ladies' Singer Supports #MeToo Movement
News of Beyoncé's seventh studio album broke last month and it is set for release on July 29. The project which reportedly ushers in a new era for the Queen will feature country-leaning and dance tracks.
However, before its anticipated release, reports surfaced that Queen B was doing some last-minute checks to verify the collaborators that she partnered with for the album.
As The Blast reported, the Houston native is working hard to make sure her upcoming album has no sexual assault controversy. She is allegedly running #MeToo checks on producers and artists to make sure they aren't associated with any sexual scandal.
As a result, Beyoncé has even rejected materials from some high-profile artists who have been embroiled in sexual abuse issues. While the artists haven't been pronounced guilty, sources claim she is using the #MeToo checks to send a clear message on where she stands.
"She’s sending a clear message to the industry in the wake of troubling cases from people like R Kelly and Harvey Weinstein," said the source. "She’s rubbed some people up the wrong way, but she doesn’t care. She won’t go anywhere near you if you’ve been accused of going after one of her peers. Beyoncé is a leader in her business and wants to set an example that any abuse shouldn’t be normalized."
The 28-time Grammy Award winner chose to be strict with her collaborators because of the incident involving producer Detail who worked on her 2013 hit song, "Drunk In Love."
The producer, whose real name is Noel fisher, was charged with 15 counts of sexual assault in August 2020 after allegedly raping five women and abusing a sixth between 2010 and 2018.
"Beyoncé was devastated when she found out Detail, one of her collaborators, was accused of rape and sexual assault. She stopped working with him and her team now run #MeToo checks on any potential collaborators," the source explained.
