Did This MCU Star Help Armie Hammer Through Rehab?

There is news of disgraced star Armie Hammer, with rumors abounding that he is making a living as a hotel concierge thickening with every passing minute.
There's nothing wrong with making an honest living, but having seen Armie Hammer fall from grace in the spectacular way he did, leaves former fans and people wondering, what happened to the golden boy of Hollywood. He might or might not be working out a living at a hotel, but we do know who paid for his rehab.
What Happened To Armie Hammer
After starring in movies like "The Man from U.N.C.L.E" and "The Lone Ranger", the latter with embattled star Johnny Depp, Hammer was on his way to big things in Hollywood. But it all came to a ghastly end when several women accused Hammer of emotional, mental, and physical abuse in 2021.
The star first tried to wave the claims away, calling it "bullshit" but then in March 2021, a woman called Effie further alleged that Hammer had “violently” raped her back in 2017, over the course of four hours. In a YouTube video, "Effie", who did not divulge her legal name said, "He beat my feet with a crop so they would hurt with every step I took for the next week. During those four hours, I tried to get away but he wouldn’t let me. I thought that he was going to kill me. He then left with no concern for my well-being.”
The accusations hit home and Hammer had to step away from the limelight and checked himself into a Florida treatment program for sex, drugs, and alcohol abuse. Post that, the divorced actor made the Cayman Islands his home.
Making A Living At A Hotel?
Armie Hammer vaulted back into the spotlight after a tweet went viral, with a pamphlet of him declaring himself to be a concierge. While the original tweet has been deleted, nothing really dies on the Internet so there are plenty of versions still out there.

No further comment was issued by Hammer who is off social media so Entertainment Weekly reached out to his attorney, Andrew Brettler, to ask if the "Call Me by Your Name" star was working as a hotel concierge in the Caymans, selling timeshares?
Brettler neither confirmed nor denied the same, saying, "I can't confirm or deny it because Armie hasn't addressed it. I just think it's s---y that, if he is selling timeshares, the media is shaming him for having a 'normal job.' What's the story here?"
The hotel in question, Morritt's resort on Grand Cayman first denied the claims, saying it was all a prank. Sources also alleged that Hammer goes there to play golf at the behest of an employee. Funnily enough, two days later, the story changed.
Variety reported that Hammer is indeed working for Morritt's, selling timeshares, citing an anonymous source who said the hotel has been covering for him. The source stated, "He is working at the resort and selling timeshares. He is working in a cubicle. The reality is he's totally broke and is trying to fill the days and earn money to support his family."
His family is his two children whom he shares with his ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers who shared her "devastation" at the accusations back in 2021.

Robert Downey Jr. Had Armie Hammer's Back
There was a time when Robert Downey Jr. was the blacklisted, black sheep of Hollywood. His substance abuse and erratic behavior on set made him a pariah, and even after he sobered up, no one wanted to hire him. At the time, Mel Gibson came to his rescue, paying off steep insurance premiums so a now sober Downey could work again.
It seems Robert Downey Jr. has learned to pass good deeds along because when Hammer needed to go to rehab, it seems Iron Man picked up the tab.
While the media has written all sorts of stuff about Hammer and also written him off, no charges were ever filed against him and his stint at rehab was voluntary. Will Hammer be as big a success story as Downey Jr. remains to be seen...
But for now, the troubled boys of Hollywood do band together when in need, and that may not be a bad thing.
Although, we prefer Downey Jr. with an alpaca.
