Donald Trump Brags About His Cameo in 'Home Alone 2,' Calling It 'One Of The Biggest' Christmas Films

While on a holiday conference call with troops overseas, Donald Trump was asked if Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, which featured a brief cameo of the future president, was his favorite Christmas film.

In true Trump fashion, the President bragged about the film's success, calling it "one of the biggest" Christmas films of all time.

"Well I’m in Home Alone 2. A lot of people mention it every year, especially around Christmas. They say – especially young kids – they say, ‘I just saw you on the movie.’ They don’t see me on television as they do in the movie. But it’s been a good movie and I was a little bit younger, to put it mildly. And it was an honor to do it. And it turned out to be a very big hit, obviously. It’s a big Christmas hit – one of the biggest. So it’s an honor to be involved in something like that, you always like to see success."

Considering the fact that Trump was talking to soldiers overseas and decided to turn the conversation to himself, people were annoyed but not surprised.

Now that Home Alone 2: Lost In New York is available to stream on Disney+, a whole new round of people are realizing that the current President had a cameo.

Apparently Trump used to demand a cameo appearance in films if directors wanted to shoot in his buildings. Matt Damon told The Hollywood Reporter in 2017:

"The deal was that if you wanted to shoot in one of his buildings, you had to write him in a part. [Director] Martin Brest had to write something in Scent of a Woman — and the whole crew was in on it.

You have to waste an hour of your day with a b------- shot: Donald Trump walks in and Al Pacino’s like, 'Hello, Mr. Trump!' — you had to call him by name — and then he exits. You waste a little time so that you can get the permit, and then you can cut the scene out. But I guess in Home Alone 2 they left it in."

There was even a hilarious edit made to the Home Alone 2: Lost In New York Wikipedia page:

"On December 18th, 2019 Donald Trump because the first cast member of Home Alone 2: Lost In New York to be impeached by the US House of Representatives."

The edit has since been removed.
