Doja Cat Takes Massive Social Media Hit Amid Noah Schnapp Beef!

Doja Cat may be kicking herself for starting beef with Noah Schnapp.

Last week, the “Say So” singer reached out to the “Stranger Things” star about putting in a good word about her to his co-star, Joseph Quinn.

The 26-year-old slid into Schnapp’s DMs asking him about Quinn.

As previously mentioned, she expressed some romantic interest in his co-star and was asking him for the hook-up.

The DM that showed Doja asking, “Noah can u tell Joseph to hmu. wait no. does he have a gf?”

The teenage Netflix star responded, “LMAOO slide into his dms,” but she said, “Idk his IG or twitter he doesn't have a DM to slide into.”

Schnapp then provided Quinn's handle for her, but then decided to put it out on the internet.

Last week, Schnapp posted a since-deleted video to his TikTok account showing the private messages between him and the singer.

Doja didn’t take kindly to the 17-year-old calling her out, especially without her permission, and went off on him during an IG Live.

She did ask her fans to not overreact given he is “just a kid.”

Doja said it was “socially unaware” for Schnapp to share their private conversation online. She also said young people do “dumb s**t” and “f**k up relationships with people.”

“I'm just gonna say something right now, about the whole f***ing Noah Schnapp thing,' she began. “I think that... to be fair, let's try to be chill about it. Like Noah is a kid, but, I don't even know how old he is, but he can't be over – like there's no way he's over 21.”

Doja did remain unbiased given she’s done her fair share of f**k ups, but did learn from those mistakes.

She also called his actions “weasel s**t” for sharing their chat online.

“But the fact that Noah did that, like went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably socially unaware and whack. That's like borderline snake s**t, that's like weasel s**t,' she added.

Regardless of her mixed reaction to Schnapp’s TikTok video… fans online didn’t take Doja Cat’s diss well.

She lost over 200-thousand followers since their social media soap opera while Schnapp has gained nearly one million followers.

According to Social Blade, which is an analytics company, Schnapp’s follower count jumped from 24.25 million on Wednesday, July 6, to 25.17 million on Monday, July 10.

This isn’t the only backlash Doja has recently faced.

The Blast reported the singer came under public scrutiny after posting a video that made fun of a moment in Amber Heard‘s trial during the defamation case with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.

In the TikTok video, Doja recounted how her puppy got stung by a bee, describing the moment as “hella sad” for her.

She said, “It’s honestly hella sad ’cause like, she’s a puppy, my dog. And I’ve had her for like a week and a half, maybe two weeks now. And she, like, was just running around in the grass, and she steps on a bee.”
