Singer and rapper Doja Cat is trending again, and not for the right reasons. The famous singer previously got on the public's bad side when she made it known how she felt about "Stranger Things" actor Noah Schnapp's move to post their conversation online.

The 26-year-old has, again, come under the public's radar after posting a video that made fun of a moment in Amber Heard's trial during the defamation case with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp. During the trial, the embattled actress recalled a time when Depp allegedly did a cavity search on her and how her dog stepped on a bee on their way to the vet.

The clip of the moment went viral on social media, and several people mocked the actress's wince while talking about the incident with her dog.

Doja Cat is getting some heat following her TikTok video mimicking an infamous line from the Depp Heard trial. In the now-deleted video, the artist recounted a story similar to Heard's and winced in the same fashion the actress did while testifying.

In the TikTok video, Doja recounted how her puppy got stung by a bee, describing the moment as "hella sad" for her. She said, "It's honestly hella sad 'cause like, she's a puppy, my dog. And I've had her for like a week and a half, maybe two weeks now. And she, like, was just running around in the grass, and she steps on a bee."

The "Woman" singer then proceeded to say, "y'all know what time it is," repeatedly. She also repeated the "My dog stepped on a bee" line several times while squinting her eyes and jerking her head in the same way Heard did. The video was captioned, "I, as a dog owner, can finally say it with sincerity…."

Fans' Reaction To Doja Cat's Video

Doja's video resulted in online backlash and criticism from fans and non-fans. Some followers took to Twitter to call out the singer, saying her attempt to mock Heard wasn't funny. "Doja Cat mocking Amber Heard isn't funny, and it never was when yall did it months ago too," someone wrote.

Another Twitter user criticized, "The fact that she has one of the biggest platforms on TikTok and it's being used to further mock and humiliate amber heard. @DojaCat educate yourself and delete."

Despite the hordes of criticism, several Doja's fans supported her, pointing out that no one had a problem with making fun of parts of the trial a while ago. One wrote, "Doja said her dog got stung by a bee, and now suddenly everyone wants to act like an activist."

A fan defended, "I mean, I understand why people are mad bc she's making fun of the testimony of an abuse victim, which is really shitty, but I feel like she just said it because her dog actually stepped on a bee and it was a meme, and she probably didn't look in the case too much so-."

Johnny Depp Sued Amber Heard For Defamation

During her defamation trial against her ex-husband Depp, Heard recounted the infamous story of her dog stepping on a bee with a facial reaction that most people declared was over the top. The trial started early this year and was held for six weeks.

The defamation suit resulted from an op-ed written by Heard in 2018 for the Washington Post. The piece painted the actress as a domestic violence survivor, and Depp sued her for the claim to "clear [his] name."

According to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star, his ex-wife fabricated the abuse allegations to get a large divorce settlement. He also claimed the move sabotaged his career in the process. Depp eventually won the case and was given $10 million in compensatory damages and, for punitive damages, $5 million. Heard was awarded $2 million for compensatory damages but nothing for punitive damages.

Besides being bashed over her Heard video, Doja is also currently the recipient of some criticism after slamming "Stranger Things" star Noah Schnapp for publicizing their conversation. In the now-deleted TikTok video, the singer asked the 17-year-old to help her get with his co-star, Joseph Quinn.

After the video was released and went viral, the singer went live to express her displeasure on the matter. Before talking about it, Doja first acknowledged that the actor was underage and should be cut some slack but didn't excuse him from his actions.

The "Hop Pink" artist declared that Schnapp was "unbelievably socially unaware and wack" and referred to his actions as "borderline snake shit." The ensuing online backlash questioned Doja's actions, asking why she messaged a 17-year-old to set her up with a grown man.
