'Temptation Island' Finale: Ashley Dumps Casey, But Did She Stay With Ben?

The sun has set on the Second Season of "Temptation Island," and it was a wild ride! After all the dust settled, some contestants stayed together, others decided to part ways and Casey had his whole world come crashing down on live TV. The finale kicked off with the 2nd part of the bonfire, and then followed up with an emotional reunion that not all of the stars attended.

We left off with our "Temptation Island" stars last week with Kate and David squaring off over David's infidelity and wild threesomes during his time on the show.

After David tried to explain his actions, which didn't turn out sounding too hot. Kate finally interrupted her estranged boyfriend and explained that she feels he was only on "Temptation Island" for himself, but he helped her realize what she truly needs in life.

"I’m not blaming you, but you made this journey about you, and I made this journey about me. So thank you for showing me who you truly are."

Kate and David end up going their separate ways ... with her going home solo and him going home with Toneata. David said he plans on moving to L.A. to be with Toneata.

As Gavin and Esonica meet up, it becomes clear that he wants to leave the island with his girlfriend, but she may not feel the same way.

Gavin apologizes for his shortcomings in the couple's relationship, admitting he was not being as sensitive, attentive, supportive, and patient as he needed to be.

However, Esonica doesn't feel that Gavin has really changed, and she's not feeling the love. Even though Gavin says he wants to leave the island with her, Esonica decides she would not like to leave with Gavin.

He leaves alone, and minutes later Kareem walks in and gives her a big hug.

“I’ve learned the possibilities of letting my walls down and really allow myself to feel the potential of love," Esonica says as she and Kareem leave "Temptation Island" together.

In a last-ditch effort to save his relationship, Casey previously bought an engagement ring and planned on proposing to Ashley H during their final bonfire.

"I’ve got a really big question for you. I can’t live with myself if I don’t ask," Casey nervously tells his estranged girlfriend while pulling the ring out of his pocket.

He adds, “I want to die next to you. I want to be that couple that lives next to your mom and sits on rocking chairs and drinks wine at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.”

Ashley immediately shows disapproval and shakes her head, denying the marriage proposal. She informs Casey that they are done and she is leaving the island with someone else. Casey is crushed and sobs into Mark Walberg's shoulder before leaving the show.

Immediately afterward, Ben is whisked in and gives Ashley a big kiss and hug. They end up leaving the island together as the show comes to a close.

After the final bonfire, "Temptation Island" aired a reunion episode to find out where the couples are after the show aired.

Right off the bat, we learn that Casey did not show up to the reunion, because he is still heartbroken over losing Ashley H.

But, don't get too excited ... because Ashley and Ben have already broken up! Apparently she visited Casey after "Temptation Island" and may have hooked up with him, which upset Casey who ended his relationship with Ashley after finding out. Ashley says she's currently single and enjoying life.

Kate and David are still working out their differences, including whether or not he actually cheated on her during the infamous threesome. He also gives an update that he ended things with Toneata after a wild tryst in L.A.

Kareem and Esonica broke up, and she is currently trying to work things out with Gavin. However, he doesn't feel things are going well after seeing everything that unfolded on "Temptation Island."

Finally, Rick and Ashley G -- the only couple that left the island together ... have broken up! They decided they are actually better as friends, and Rick is exploring a relationship with Medinah, who he hooked up with back on the island.

Things certainly did not end up well for the couples, but maybe it was all for the best. Regardless, it was a super exciting season of "Temptation Island!"
