TV host Andy Cohen just got candid about how messy dating as a father of two is. The television personality is known for being the host and executive producer of the Bravo show "Watch What Happens Live!"

Cohan welcomed his second child Lucy in April and announced the baby's arrival via his Instagram page. News of the pregnancy was kept until her birth while the show host announced his first son Ben in an episode of his show in December 2018.

Months after welcoming the second addition to his home, Cohen talked about dipping his toes into the dating pool and the vast difference between now and when he was on his own. He referred to dating now as "emotionally chaotic" and said he mostly "vibed out" when his partner could meet his children.

Switching places from his role as an interviewer to an interviewee, Cohen shed some light on his experience in the dating scene with two small children in tow. The show host joined SiriusXM on "Stern Show Summer School" hosted by Gary Dell'Abate and Rahsaan Rogers and gave all the details.

The hosts started the questioning by asking Cohen how he was holding up as a father of two. In response, the "Watch What Happens Live" host talked about how "good" he felt after his two-month-old returned from the hospital.

The conversation then moved on to how his dating life was holding up with two kids, and Cohen talked about how different it was dating now than it was when he was by himself.

The 54-year-old proceeded to categorize people, naming one group as some people he could pursue a relationship with and the other group as the people he wanted to see temporarily. "Dating is another story because, you know, I haven't, there are two kinds of people, people that you wanna date and people that you…" he trailed off.

Rogers completed the sentence for him by adding, "People that you wanna bang." Cohen concurred, "Thank you. Thank you, Rahsaan." He continued, "Okay. So the answer is the dating thing that, you know, I have had some dates."

Cohen revealed that dating now was more "emotionally chaotic" in his mind because of how much his priorities shifted when he became a father. "It's gotten in my mind more kind of emotionally chaotic," he admitted.

The 54-year-old recalled a time he had a conversation with a guy who was dating. During the conversation, he noted a "third thing," which was a part of their relationship. While his unnamed date thought the third thing was his fame, the 54-year-old disclosed that it was his family.

I said it's that I have a family.' And he said, 'Oh no, I viewed that the third thing is that you're famous,' And I'm like wow. I don't even think about that."

According to the father of two, as a single father, anytime he tried to date, he always had his family on his mind and knew that when dating, he wasn't the only person involved. "I'm not only dating someone, but I'm dating someone obviously there's gonna be a point where I'm like, I want you to meet my kids."

The show host was further asked how he knew it was time to introduce his children to whoever he was dating. According to Cohen, he just "vibed it out" when he thought the time was right. "The answer is just; I just vibed it out when the time felt right," he explained.
