Michelle Young Caught Off Guard With Her Split From Nayte Olukoya!

Former 'Bachelorette' Michelle Young believed she had found her forever in Nate Olukoya, during the latest season of "The Bachelorette."
Young, 29, seemed extremely sure about her relationship with Olukoya and remained trusting in the dynamic the pair shared with one another, despite some pushback from Bachelor Nation fans on social media. Olukoya was frequently criticized for his difficulty to communicate openly with Young, but the duo remained steadfast in trusting their relationship one rose at a time!
Unfortunately, Young and Olukoya recently decided to end their relationship. Right before the couple's official confirmation, eagle-eyed Bachelor Nation fans noticed Young had been out in public sans her engagement ring.
After rumors about the couple heading to splitsville began to spiral out of control, Young publicly addressed the rumors on her Instagram story, which had been an unusual move for Young as she and Olukoya rarely publicly discussed their relationship.
Giving A Rose To Opening Up: Young Reflects On Ending Their Engagement
Young is now ready to provide some insight to Bachelor Nation about the end of her high-profile engagement.
She recently sat down for an interview with the "Ben And Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast", a popular Bachelor Nation podcast hosted by Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti.
Young opted to remain tight-lipped about the specifics of her break-up with her ex-fiancé, although she alluded to their split happening out of the blue.
According to People, Young responded to a question about their split, saying, "I will say this is not something I foresaw, and I'll leave it there."
She also made it clear in her interview that she's aware of the fact fans are thinking about *that* check she and Olukoya famously received during the "After The Final Rose" special for her season and may be wondering what will happen to their big gift.
Their monetary gift from the higher-ups in Bachelor Nation was intended to help the couple move forward in settling into their first home together. Young also wants to make sure the money will eventually be able to go toward and help fund an equally helpful situation.
Young also revealed she had been "crying on the phone with one of the producers" over her desire to "give the money to someone else," as per People.
Olukoya Responds To His Quiet Reputation On "The Bachelorette"
Last December, Olukoya acknowledged his struggle with communicating openly with Young during her 'Bachelorette' season. He opened up on Bachelor Happy Hour, the podcast Young co-hosts, and explained he did not feel hindered by the possibility of his communication struggles being perceived or labeled negatively.
According to Elite Daily, he said, "I don't think it's a bad way about me, but when it comes to moments of trying to express yourself, it's hard for me to get into expressing myself."
Olukoya also recently expressed his disdain for cheating-related rumors in the wake of the couple's split.
He cut to the chase during an Instagram Story statement late last month, where he wrote, "No... I didn't cheat" and elaborated by saying, "Not every break-up has to have someone to blame. Yes, the pressures were insane for the both of us. We tried. It didn't work. We're sad about it. We all grieve differently." (via People)
Regardless of whether Young or Olukoya eventually decide to elaborate more about the end of their relationship, we give them an endless amount of roses for being transparent and sharing their grief with Bachelor Nation in any shape or form they feel most comfortable doing so!
