Actor Dwayne Johnson is known for his intense workouts and his massive muscles.
Fitness gurus know that when you train that hard, you need to replenish your body with some serious protein and healthy carbs for optimal performance. Considering how The Rock just had to put on muscle for his role in DC's "Black Adam," he had to eat a lot to be able to maintain his massive size through filming.
Earlier this week, he shared how to make two breakfast meals with his followers: one breakfast on a training day and one breakfast as a cheat meal.

The “Red Notice” actor unveiled his “Pre workout Sunday power breakfast” for his Instagram followers, which consists of grilled bison, an egg omelet, brown rice cereal topped with blueberries, and English muffins coated with peanut butter and honey.
Johnson revealed that he was training his legs that morning, so he was “carbing up” and getting in “some good suga suga.” He also took the time to plug Zoa Energy, his own brand of energy drink.
“Have a good Sunday,” he added. “Let’s get to work.”
Followers love his massive meals, and this one was no exception. “Dang, that's a big meal😭🙌” one follower wrote.
“Dam that looks really good mr Johnson I hoped you enjoyed it,” another follower commented.
“Healthy meals are the best meal,” a third fan agreed. “This is the best breakfast I've seen,” said another.
Another follower commented, “Peanut butter and honey together are 😍 Breakfast looks amazing.”

Set to the music of Kool & The Gang’s “Take My Heart (You Can Have It If You Want It)”, Dwayne Johnson revealed the cheat meal that most could only dream of.
After he finished eating his pre-workout meal, he shared his POST workout meal. “Just wrapped leg training + it’s #CheatDay so IT’S ON baby,” he wrote. In other words, he ate the meal in the first video, did some leg training in the Iron Paradise, and then came back to eat ALL of this!
We warned you he eats a lot, didn’t we?
Johnson revealed that he scarfed down a dozen eggs: two whole eggs and ten egg whites, so he’s getting a lot of protein from the egg whites without a lot of the cholesterol and fat from the egg yolk. He also added crispy turkey bacon to his plate along with homemade biscuits topped with a honey drizzle, fresh from the oven.
He revealed that the “ridiculous” biscuits were made by his family chef, Chef Puttie, who also whipped up some delicious holiday meals for the Johnson family last Thanksgiving!
In all seriousness, the “Jungle Cruise” actor revealed that there is a method to his madness. “Leg training is my hardest workout of the week and I do my best to schedule it on cheat days so I can really load up with glycogen to push more volume into muscles and have killer workouts,” he explained. “Plus training on Sundays gives you that psychological edge over your competition.”
“You’re an inspiration @therock I hope to accomplish as much as you one day 💪🏻” one fan commented.
“Would you ever consider going Vegan?” another follower asked.
“😍😍👏🏾👏🏾 to the chef 👨🍳 😋🤤” said another.
“Eggs and Bacon -> Breakfast for Winners,” another follower wrote.
On the Fourth of July, Dwayne Johnson also taught his followers how to make THE official drink of the summer, which he calls the Mana Spritz. Fans can check out how to make it by checking out his video here.
