Kourtney Kardashian Slams Paparazzi For 'Monetizing Off Of Our Nightmare'

Reality star Kourtney Kardashian and husband Travis Barker took to Instagram on Saturday afternoon to open up on their frightening health scare.

A little later on that night, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star added a new message for the paparazzi. On Thursday, June 30, TMZ reported that the “The Kardashians” star was out and about running errands in Encino, decked out his the Blink-182 drummer’s DTA Records merch to show his support for him as he recovered from pancreatitis.

Only one problem: it wasn't true. Kourtney never left his side while the Blink-182 drummer was recovering in the hospital.

TMZ later issued an update, explaining, “The photo agency which licensed the photos of Kourtney, represented they were taken Wednesday in Encino.” However, sources told the outlet that the photos were actually taken several weeks ago. These sources added that Kourtney “has not left the hospital since Travis was admitted.”

Kourtney is finally breaking her silence on this matter, warning the paps, "I didn't forget about you."

After her initial message, the Poosh founder went back to her Instagram Stories to fire off a shot at the paparazzi who claimed they had captured photographs of her out and about running errands while her husband was suffering in the hospital.

“And to the paparazzi who sold pictures of me ‘out and about’ while my husband was in the hospital fighting for his life…” Kourtney began. “these were photos actually taken weeks ago, (I can’t even remember the last time I wore that sweatsuit in the photos)…”

“I didn’t forget about you,” she continued. “A new level of low, monetizing off of our nightmare. Really savagely uncool when I actually didn’t leave his side… shame on you.”

It remains to be seen if Kourtney will try to take legal action for misrepresenting her in the photos, but in the meantime, fans are just glad that the two are alright. The couple wed in Italy just over a month ago, and Kourtney had a health scare of her own when she was diagnosed with COVID-19 for a second time.

Last Tuesday, the couple experienced another health scare when Kourtney, 43, rushed Travis, 46, to the West Hills Hospital and Medical Center on Tuesday morning. That afternoon, he was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles by ambulance. On Saturday night, Travis took to his Instagram Stories to reveal that he had been diagnosed with life-threatening pancreatitis.

The rocker explained that he went in for an endoscopy last Monday “feeling great.”However, after dinner, he wrote that he “developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since.”

“During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube,” he explained. “This resulted in severe life threatening pancreatitis.”

“I am so very, very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better,” he concluded. “Thank you God, I love you God.”

Kourtney also took to her Instagram Stories to thank her fans for all of the support and seemed to be struggling to find the right words to express her gratitude for the thoughts and prayers of so many followers.

“Oh what a scary and emotional week it has been,” Kourtney began. “Our health is everything and sometimes we take for granted how quickly it can change.”

“Travis and I went in for a routine endoscopy together and he ended up with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis,” she explained. “I am so grateful to God for healing my husband, for all of your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. I am so touched and appreciative.”

“I am so, so thankful to our specialists, doctors, and nurses at Cedars Sinai for taking such wonderful care of my husband and me during our stay,” she added.

A few minutes later, she added, “It’s crazy how sometimes words could never truly express the gratitude or feelings I have inside of me.”

Kourtney later added, “Language and voice carry energy but your heart is more powerful. What your heart and soul feel goes beyond a small combination of letters. I love Rumi’s quote ‘I closed my eyes and spoke with you in a thousand silent ways.’”

Fans are just glad the two are alright and hope that Travis Barker makes a full recovery soon!
