Earlier today, TMZ reported that the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star was out and about running errands in Encino, decked out his the Blink-182 drummer’s DTA Records merch to show his support for him as he recovered from pancreatitis.
Ultimately, it appears that these rumors just aren’t true and Kourtney has not left his side since he arrived in the hospital on Tuesday.
Kourtney Kardashian Is Staying By Travis Barker’s Side As He Recovers
TMZ later issued an update, explaining, “The photo agency which licensed the photos of Kourtney, represented they were taken Wednesday in Encino.” However, sources told the outlet that the photos were actually taken several weeks ago. These sources added that Kourtney “has not left the hospital since Travis was admitted.”
As TMZ first reported, Kourtney, 43, rushed Travis, 46, to the West Hills Hospital and Medical Center on Tuesday morning. Things took a turn for the worse and he was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles by ambulance. The two recently tied the knot in Italy a little over a month ago.
Kourtney had her first health scare when she was diagnosed with COVID-19 for a second time shortly after returning from Italy. The Poosh founder took to her lifestyle blog to share tips on how to make COVID-19 symptoms more manageable, including vitamins, facial steamers, and essential oils, like peppermint. It’s not clear at this time if Travis is also battling the COVID-19 virus.
Sources told TMZ that the Blink-182 drummer has been diagnosed with pancreatitis after his pancreas became inflamed from a recent colonoscopy procedure. It’s not clear when he had the procedure done, but it sounds like he was in a significant amount of pain before Kourtney rushed him to the hospital.
Travis Barker ‘Could Barely Walk’ Prior To Tuesday’s Hospitalization
A source told PEOPLE that Barker “could barely walk” prior to his hospitalization, adding that he was also experiencing “extreme stomach pain.”
According to the Mayo Clinic, symptoms of pancreatitis include nausea, intense stomach pain, and vomiting. These symptoms may start suddenly and last for days, or it can even occur over many years. More than 200,000 cases of pancreatitis are diagnosed every year, but the prognosis is usually favorable once doctors determine the underlying cause of the inflammation.
The source said that doctors have already run several diagnostic tests and started Travis on a modified diet. The source said that Travis is “getting the best care at Cedars.”
Although the Kardashian and Jenner family have been quiet on social media, the source revealed that Kourtney “won’t leave his side.” On Tuesday night, the insider said that Kourtney Kardashian was really “worried” for his health, adding, “They both were.”

On Wednesday, she uploaded a picture holding her father’s hand on her TikTok page and on her Instagram Stories. She again captioned the post, “Please send your prayers.”
