Olivia O’Brien: 'Shut Your Mouth' Over Pete Davidson Dating Rumors

Olivia O’Brien is speaking out about claims she dated Pete Davidson after he vehemently denied them.

It’s a classic case of “she said, he said” and now she’s saying she NEVER dated the former “Saturday Night Live.”

Days after O’Brien made a guest appearance on the “BFFs Podcast” with Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards and Brianna Chickenfry, the singer says she never actually claimed to have dated the comedian.

The Blast previously reported that O’Brien was asked by Portnoy “what was going on” between her and Pete in 2020.

She explained she briefly dated him, but he ended things with her to get with “Bridgerton” star Phoebe Dynevor.

“He texted me and was like, ‘I’m seeing someone else. So, like, I can’t,'” O’Brien admitted.

She said there were no hard feelings and the two carried on life in separate directions.

Days after the statement made the rounds on the internet, a rep for Pete spoke out and said the two never dated.

In a statement to Page Six his rep said, “There is no truth to this. They were friends and hung out a few times.”

Now, O’Brien is speaking out and agreeing with the rep.

“News outlets are taking things I said in an interview (after being asked a very specific question) wayyy out of context. I never claimed to date anyone,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Friday, July 1.

O’Brien’s message continued, “Stop trying to start weird drama over me texting someone 2 years ago. Jesus Christ.”

So maybe it was a friends with benefits sort of situation…?

O’Brien shot back at the internet again with a selfie and a caption that read, “watch the f**king interview or shut your f**king mouth @/all the news outlets posting fake stories about me ?."

She also flipped the bird to her camera.

Either way, O’Brien had nothing but great things to say about Pete during their brief hangouts.

She told the “BFFs Podcast” gang that she thinks he’s “hot and he’s a really funny guy.”

She doubled down and agreed with his current girlfriends statement about how sweet he is.

“And he’s really sweet. He’s a really sweet guy,” she continued to explain.

While this relationship may sound a little random and “WTF” to some, O’Brien understands because she had no idea anyone knew about their relationship.

She asked Portnoy how he had any idea they dated, to which Portnoy credited gossip blog account DeuxMoi.

Back in 2020, the social media account had an anonymous submission sent in which stated, “I have it on good authority that pete and phoebe are in fact an item,” the post claimed. “He ended things with B-list popstar/influencer he had been seeing beforehand for phoebe.”

Pete and Phoebe were an unlikely couple, much like many of his romances, but they dated for a few months before breaking up in 2021.

He visited the actress in London a few times where they were photographed taking a stroll and shopping.

Again, O’Brien has no hard feelings for the guy. in fact, she finds it rather “annoying” that “guys don’t get” his massive appeal.

Like she said, “he’s hot” and “he’s really sweet.”

Pete is currently dating Kim Kardashian who echoed multiple sentiments put out into the world by his ex-girlfriends.

She admitted on an episode of “The Kardashians” that he’s the sweetest guy she’s ever met.

Kim also confirmed Ariana Grande’s past statements about Pete’s ‘BDE’ adding she’s having the best sex of her life currently.

Earlier this month, the SKIMS creator hinted that his BDE is having a positive effect on her sex life.
