Actress Jen Lilley has become known as The Hallmark Channel's newest darling. The 35 year-old actress starred in her first Hallmark film A Dash of Love back in 2017.

Since then Lilley has gone on to star in 7 more Hallmark films, a few of which are Christmas movies. The actress wrapped up her latest holiday film Angel Falls back in October, just two months after giving birth to her daughter.

Fans are excited about Lilley's new movie and the actress has become with newcomers to Hallmark. So let's take a look at some facts about Jen Lilley's life.

Like many actresses, Jen Lilley got her break on a soap opera. In July 2013, she joined the NBC soap opera Days of our Lives. Her character was Theresa Donovan, the daughter of Kimberly Brady and Shane Donovan.

One of Lilley's storylines on "Days of Our Lives," was Theresa's turbulent relationship with Brady Black. Lilley earned praise from soap fans and journalists for her portrayal of Theresa Donovan.

She would play the role for three years before leaving in November 2016, but since then she's came back for a few appearances.

Jen and her husband Jason Wayne have been married for 12 years, and the couple has got a full house with their three children.

In July 2019, she gave birth to their daughter Julie Evangeline. Julie's birth was an exciting moment for Lilley, who had a miscarriage years earlier.

Aside from their daughter Julie, Jen and her husband are also foster parents to two boys, whom they were adopting. In June 2019, they officially adopted their eldest son Kayden, and the couple is still in the process of adopting Kayden's younger brother.

These days Jen Lilley calls Los Angels home, but she's a southern girl at heart. The actress was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia. She grew up with three siblings, two brothers and one sister.

In 2007, she graduated from the University of Virginia and thought about becoming a teacher. But she decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of being an actress.

The move worked out well for Lilley, but she's stated in interviews that she does miss her hometown and visits as often as she can.
