Singer Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have finally tied the knot!
The two have been together ever since they met on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. The Iranian actor stayed by her through her stifling conservatorship and popped the question in September 2021, two months before a judge finally freed her of her almost 14-year conservatorship last November.
Although the “Gimme More” singer shared photos of her hotel room on Instagram, a source close to the couple explained that the couple took a brief trip to Las Vegas and revealed that the two are actually NOT on their honeymoon yet!

A source close to the couple told PEOPLE on Wednesday that she and Sam headed to Las Vegas on June 24, but are saving their honeymoon for next year. Britney has mixed feelings about Sin City. She has often complained on quickly-deleted Instagram posts about her family and former friends living it up in Vegas while she had to perform long days under grueling conditions during his Las Vegas Residency.
It seems that, although Britney is now making up for lost time and enjoying all that Vegas has to offer, she is NOT ready to get back into her career for a while. “Britney has no desire right now to have a career,” the source revealed. “She is not opposed to working in the future, but right now, she just wants to enjoy her life.”

And it seems that Britney is enjoying her life, especially now that she is married to Sam! The source said that Britney is “very happy” to be married, adding, “She still can’t believe she is married. She enjoys it very much and loves calling Sam her husband.”
After enjoying a fairytale wedding in her home in Thousand Oaks, California, Britney actually moved into the same neighborhood as her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. Fans assume that Brit, now 40, wants to establish a stronger relationship with her two teenage children.

“Britney loves her new house,” the insider said. “She picked it out with Sam.”
“She wanted a fresh start with Sam,” the source continued. “It’s been very important to her to have a home that she picked up without having to ask for approval from [dad Jamie Spears].”
Britney hasn’t been shy about showing off her new house on Instagram. Shortly after she moved in, she took to Instagram to show a video of Sam swimming in their new pool!

The “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer revealed that she decided to delay her honeymoon so that she and Sam could move into their new home and start their marriage off on the right foot!
“Haven’t been on my honeymoon yet … got married and moved into a new house around the same time … not the smartest thing to do … 🤧🤧🤧🤔🤔🤔 … oh well it’s coming together,” she said.
She called out her new pool, new kitchen, and her new bed, noting that “It’s so weird … I wake up and everything is new.”

She said that she’s still “figuring out a couple of things … I definitely like being outside but I also like being inside too … my yard is sick so my dogs are in pig heaven 🐷🐷🐷 !!!”
