R.Kelly's Girlfriend Joycelyn Savage Says She's 'One Of His Victims'

R.Kelly's longtime girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage, is speaking out against the singer for the first time, now calling herself a "victim" after years of defending the star. Savage, who has been living with R. Kelly since she was 19, opened up about the dynamics of her relationship with him on Saturday. Posting on her social media for the first time in years, Savage, 23, teased she would be telling her story on Patreon, a paid membership platform, despite an NDA which she says she signed.

Promising to "post daily chapters of my story," Savage told her followers just how dangerous the details she plans to uncover will be on her life. "Things I am going to reveal that was sweared not to see the day of light — by NDA. I am risking my life for many others," she posted. "‪This story is 18+ and only for mature audience," she warned. "I want to make sure my story is very detailed as I can remember." Joycelyn Savage has already dropped the first chapter titled, "Where It All Started."

In the chapter, she recalls first meeting R. Kelly at one of his shows in 2015 and the promises he made about helping with her music and modeling career, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In her own words, Savage talks about how he used to compare him to the late Aaliyah, whom he married when she was just 15 years old. Remembering he used to tell her, "Baby girl you are going to be the next Aaliyah." Savage also teased that there's "something about Robert & Aaliyah that I am going to reveal which everyone needs to know. As one of his victims, yes victim, I’ve seen more and heard more!" This is the first time she's ever called herself a victim. Up until this point, she has always been on R. Kelly's side. Savage describes what it was like inside the house and how much his behavior changed throughout the years.

Revealing he made her think her dreams were coming true, she stated, "We also did a couple of songs together in his studio which he promised me he would release on his platform." Doubling down, she says those songs "never seen the day of light, Robert told me soo many lies my 19 year old mind believed everyone of one them." Once she moved into his home, Savage claims his behavior flipped. "After these couple of months Robert started giving me commands, and making sure I call him by certain names. Like ‘Master’ or ‘Daddy’ which I didn’t really care for at the time," Savage wrote. "It started getting worse by day by day, he would raise his voice at me if I didn’t call him by those two names. If Robert called me I would have to reply with ‘Yes, daddy’ or ‘Please daddy’ he was so controlling."

Savage details how she was always watched inside the home, especially by R. Kelly's assistants. "They never spoken to me or anything they just watched me which was weird to me at the time," she states. "I can say I didn’t have any type of privacy at all now that I think of it. If I showered one of his assistants would have to be by the door while I shower. At the moment I kept thinking to myself why is all of this, does he think I will run away?"

Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary have been at the forefront of R. Kelly's support team and even defended the musician against the sex abuse charges during an interview with Gayle King earlier this year. R. Kelly has been fighting the charges and is currently remains locked up in prison.
