Singer Madonna took to Instagram on Sunday, two days after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in a 6-3 ruling.

Many women and celebrities have taken to social media to react with disappointment to the decision, which allowed many states to now ban abortions.

The "Vogue" singer is a mom to four daughters: model Lourdes Leon, 25, Mercy James 16, and 9-year-old twins Estere and Stella.

On Sunday, the “Material Girl” singer took to Instagram to weigh in on the controversial Supreme Court decision that shocked the nation last Friday.

“I want to say that I had a great time at the party after my Show for Pride ?️‍? at terminal 5,

But I woke up to the terrifying news that Roe V Wade had been overturned and that. Legislation has decided that We no longer have rights as women over our bodies,” she wrote in a lengthy Instagram post. “This decision Has plunged me And every other woman in this country into deep despair.”

“Now the Supreme Court has decided that Women’s rights are no longer constitutional rights.

In fact we have less rights then a gun,” she wrote. “I am scared For my daughters.”

“I’m scared for all women in America,” she added. “I am just plain scared.”

“I Guess God Put this on our shoulders right now because he knew that we were strong enough To bear the weight,” she continued. “Strong enough to FIGHT! Strong. enough to overcome And so We Shall ?? Overcome! We will find a way to make It A Federal Law to Protect Abortion Rights!”

“Ladies are you ready……..,……….?????????. To Fight?” she asked. The "Like A Prayer" singer was far from alone in denouncing Roe v. Wade's reversal on Instagram, as many celebrities took to social media to put the Supreme Court on blast.

Celebrities Take To Social Media To Denounce Supreme Court Decision

Former First Lady Michelle Obama took to Instagram to comment on the "painful lessons of a time before Roe was made law of the land."

"So yes, I am heartbroken – for the teenage girl, full of zest and promise, who won't be able to finish school or live the life she wants because her state controls her reproductive decisions; for the mother of a nonviable pregnancy who is now forced to bring that pregnancy to term; for the parents watching their child's future evaporate before their very eyes; for the health care workers who can no longer help them without risking jail time," she wrote in her lengthy statement, which can be read above.

Michelle's husband, former President Barack Obama also took to Twitter to condemn the Supreme Court's decision. He tweeted, "Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans."
