Current "Jeopardy!" host Mayim Bialik revealed the insulting comment that she says she hears a lot.

As Good Housekeeping reported, "The Big Bang Theory" alum brought actor Justin Long on a recent episode of her podcast, "Mayim Bialik's Breakdown," to talk about insults and other unwanted comments that she's received.

Mayim Bialik Discusses 'Unwanted Comments' With Actor Justin Long

Mayim got her start as a child star on "Blossom" long before she started hosting "Jeopardy!". With over thirty years of experience in the entertainment industry, Mayim has definitely had her fair share of unwanted comments.

"The Break-Up" actor Justin Long told Mayim that both he and his family are big fans of the game show, which recently won yet another Emmy for Outstanding Game Show last week. He asked Mayim if she ever heard fans say that they preferred her over Ken Jennings to become the next permanent host.

"Sometimes," Mayim replied. "Sometimes I get ‘We don’t prefer you to Ken.’”

"Isn’t that wild?" Justin remarked. "Well, it’s the only profession that I can think of — where people will tell you deeply insulting things but with a big smile?"

Mayim agreed, adding that “[People will tell you] exactly how they feel Like ‘I saw you in a magazine. I was very confused. You looked pretty.’ I get that a lot.”

“Oh, jeez," Justin responded. "This sounds like I’m bragging but..."

“You’re better looking in person?” Mayim interjected.

“Yes, that’s a tough one because then you think ‘Well, what do I care what you like? That means to millions of other people I’m worse looking,” Justin added.

The two shared insulting experiences that they received, but fans were quick to offer their support.

“I always think of you as beautiful, Ms. Mayim,” one fan commented.

“Wow!!! The fact they don’t find that insulting, tells you cloth they’re cut from,” another follower wrote.

'The Big Bang Theory' Costar Simon Helberg Weighs In

In another episode of her podcast from back in May, Mayim brought on her "The Big Bang Theory" costar Simon Helberg. Mayim recently made her directorial debut with her recent film "As They Made Us," and she decided to cast her close friend in a key role.

On the podcast, Mayim and the "Annette" actor talked about how strangers would come up to them just to tell them how much they didn't like the CBS sitcom, which ended in 2019 after twelve seasons.

“Famously, the introduction that people would tend to make to me, particularly when the show was on, they would come up and they would say, ‘Listen, I hate your show," Simon recalled.

"People would say 'I don't like your show but my grandmother does,'" Mayim added.

Fortunately, Mayim indicated that she doesn't take criticism personally and she doesn't let it influence her career.

Although fans have been pretty vocal in hoping that Ken Jennings will replace late host Alex Trebek as the new host of "Jeopardy!", Mayim does have plenty of supporters in her corner.

She is also heavily favored to be the next host of the "Celebrity Jeopardy!" spin-off that was announced earlier this year. Considering that Mayim has been hosting the tournaments, like the 2021 Professor's Tournament and the 2022 National College Championship on primetime, it's possible that "Jeopardy!" will decide to keep both hosts: Ken for regular gameplay and Mayim for special tournaments.

It seems like fans won't have to wait long for an answer, either. Executive producer Michael Davies teased that a hosting announcement will be made "very, very soon."
