According to Page Six, the “RHONY” star was hanging out at a Philly piano bar in the city’s “Gayborhood”.
The outlet reported Morgan was on stage singing “Hello, Dolly!” at the venue. The reality star was booted and allegedly “crying and moaning” saying “They s—t on me!”.
Morgan confirmed the incident to Page Six. She told them, “I was with friends who were singing at the piano, like we do at [Upper East Side bar] the Townhouse, and the piano player said, ‘Remove her!’”
Morgan blames the piano player of having beef with her. She believes he had her booted because she touched the microphone.
She said, “I don’t know what the etiquette is, but I noticed [the previous singer] just sang into it with no hands. I took [the microphone] off the stand to do ‘Hello, Dolly!’ and we had a crowd gathering and excited.”
The “RHONY” star said she was sad about the situation. She said, “I felt slighted by the piano player. We had a blast. I love Philly.” Morgan could not remember the name of the bar where it went down.
Morgan was notably absent from BravoCon in New York over the weekend.
One fan wrote, ‘I’m devoting my day to finding out why Sonja Morgan was not at #BravoCon.”
“My friend shared a gossip story that Sonja Morgan got kicked out of a gay piano bar in Philly whose name she does not remember (has to be Tavern on Camac, right?) after drunkenly grabbing the mic, screaming, and singing Hello, Dolly!. Important q: why was I not there?” read another comment.
Instead of hanging with other Bravo stars, Morgan posted She posted a photo tagged in Great Barrington, Massachusetts captioned, “Love getting away to the country and out of the city. I’m a country girl at heart. Are you a city person or country? #townandcountry
fall ? ? ?.”
One person who did attend BravoCon was Morgan’s costar Tinsley Mortimer, who had reportedly quit the show last month.
Earlier this month, Mortimer failed to show for filming with her costars. She reportedly skipped work to head to Chicago with her boyfriend, Scott Kluth
The on-again off-again couple recently became on-again after months apart. Mortimer recently posted a photo from Chicago captioned, “Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true” ☺️? #chicago ?by Scott.”
Mortimer has been a main cast member on “Real Housewives of New York” since Season 9.
The other returning cast includes Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley. The new member of the case is a woman named Leah McSweeney.
Bethenny Frankel was the first cast member to exit before this season started filming. Frankel starred on “RHONY” from season 1 until season 3. She would leave and return for season 7 until season 11.
