Savannah Chrisley is looking back at her life before her parents were convicted of fraud. The tv personality's parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of multiple federal charges on June 7.
The charges include tax evasion, submitting fake documents to banks while applying for loans, and conspiracy to defraud the US. Besides the charges her husband received, Julie was also convicted of committing wire fraud and obstructing justice. The family has asked fans for privacy and understanding during this trying time.
Savannah recently talked about the period before and after the entire situation. She referred to it as the "Pre Storm" and "Post Storm" eras. According to the 24-year-old, the Pre Storm era was full of things that didn't matter; now, however, she had more time to do what was important to her.

Weeks after her parents' verdict came in, Chrisley let the public know how she felt about the entire situation. The 24-year-old is the youngest daughter of Todd and Julie and went on Instagram on Wednesday to talk about how things were since they were found guilty.
Savannah shared pictures of her and her siblings and other family members in the Instagram post. The caption read, "Sitting here this morning reflecting on life... Pre Storm and Post Storm. One thing I can say is that I am thankful for those around that chose to love and love hard… no matter how difficult it may be."
The "Chrisley Knows Best" star revealed that while "Pre Storm" was fast-paced, the next phase gave her more time with God, her family, and herself. "Pre Storm was FAST paced and full of things that just don't matter," she wrote. "Halfway through the video is the transition— more quiet time, more God time, more me time and family time…"
Savannah Said She Was 'Grateful' For Everything
Further on in the post's caption, Savannah revealed that despite everything, she felt grateful "in a weird way." "And oddly enough," she wrote. "I am grateful in a weird way because I know that there is a God who, out of nothing, does everything!"
"He can take what the enemy used to try and destroy you and used to develop you. I am in the process of finding ME…, so bare with me," the 24-year-old continued and encouraged her followers to choose love no matter what happens in life.
Savannah further divulged that she felt like she was currently enduring a process placed by God that involved "slowing [her] down and working in [her] heart." "It's moments like these that will make me a better daughter, sister, friend, partner, future mother, and daughter of God," the tv personality added.
Todd And Julie Chrisley Were Charged With Fraud
Reality tv stars Todd and Julie were convicted on charges of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud, and conspiracy, which stemmed from a 2019 indictment. They were scheduled to be sentenced on October 6.
While the duo could face around 30 years in prison, according to UsWeekly, legal excerpt Jeffrey W. Steinberger said that he wasn't certain they would receive the maximum sentence. He explained, "It's not a violent crime. They can get anywhere up to maybe 10 years, maybe 15 years, or maybe only five… from the size of the money; it's going to be a somewhat significant time."
Savannah first talked about the verdict on Thursday and asked her followers to be considerate while sharing their thoughts on the situation. In the Instagram post, the 24-year-old admitted that because of everything that happened, she felt let down by God but wanted to believe that what they were facing would be used to strengthen them.
"Recently, I felt let down by God, that My relentless prayers have been unheard. But I do believe that he will use every hardship and adversity we go through to strengthen us and prepare us for an even greater purpose," she wrote.
Todd And Julie Commented On The Situation
After the verdict, the couple discussed the situation on the Thursday episode of their "Chrisley Confessions" podcast. While they weren't allowed to say much about the case, they revealed that it was a "very sad, heartbreaking time for our family right now."
They continued, "But we still hold steadfast in our faith, and we trust that God will do what he does best because God is a miracle worker… we're alive and kicking, and we appreciate all the support we have received from everyone."
Via US Weekly, an insider revealed that the trial's results devastated the entire family. The source said, "Any future planning in Todd and Julie's life is pretty much on pause until they learn of the sentencing in the fall. It's horrible news, and they were not expecting to be found guilty. Their whole life changed in that moment."
