He’s had some of the most high-profile relationships and starred in a plethora of Hollywood’s biggest hits.

“Fight Club,” “Seven,” “Moneyball,” “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood,” and the ‘Oceans’ trilogy to name a few.

It’s no secret that he’s accomplished A TON in the thirty plus years he’s been acting, so he feels it’s time to start thinking about retirement.

“I consider myself on my last leg,” the 58-year-old actor told the outlet. “This last semester or trimester. What is this section gonna be? And how do I wanna design that?”

While this may sound like nails on a chalkboard to his fans, don’t worry, because the man was born to “make.”

“I’m one of those creatures that speaks through art,” he continued. “I just want to always make. If I’m not making, I’m dying in some way.”

This could mean he steps behind the camera or into an editing booth. He is already a seasoned producer on a extensive list of movies.

Pitt Has Put A Stop To Cigarettes & Booze

The talk of retirement may seem grim, but it sounds like Brad isn’t quite ready to put a full stop to acting just yet.

Rather, the father of six has put a full stop to cigarettes.

His put distance in his relationship with cigarettes when the pandemic first hit, but after realizing he couldn’t just cut back on them, he went full bore and stopped entirely.

“I don’t have that ability to do just one or two a day,” Pitt admitted. “It’s not in my makeup. I’m all in. And I’m going to drive into the ground. I’ve lost my privileges.”

Since his tumultuous divorce from Angelina Jolie in 2016, the actor also got sober.

Pitt and his adopted son, Maddox, got into a nasty scuffle on a private jet in front of Jolie.

This was the straw that broke the camel’s back in their relationship, and between him and some of his children.

Pitt spent a year and a half in Alcoholics Anonymous.

“I had a really cool men’s group here that was really private and selective, so it was safe,” he explained. “Because I’d seen things of other people who had been recorded while they were spilling their guts, and that’s just atrocious to me.”

While reminiscing his former lifestyle of cigarettes and booze, Pitt admitted, “I’m just at that age when nothing good comes from it.”

He's Building Stronger Relationships With His Children

In recent years, Pitt has grown his relationship with his children. He has three biological children with Jolie and three adopted children with the actress as well.

Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox are Brad’s biological children while Maddox, Pax and Zahara are adopted.

Last October, we reported Pitt was parenting his underage children as best he could.

A source close to Pitt exclusively revealed to E! News that he always supports his kids and “what makes them happy.”

The source added that the kids are ‘old enough now’ and are able to make their own decisions.

“He doesn't stand in the way. He's encouraged them to be whoever they want to be. He wouldn't ask for anything different," the source revealed.

While it may seem like all glitz and glam for the A-list kids, the source said things are more ‘low key’ at dad’s house.

"He spends low key time with his kids at home," the insider adds. “They are homebodies and have a good routine in place. He keeps their time together private.”
