According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Perlman, who is 69, filed for dissolution of marriage from his wife of Opal Perlman who he has been married to for almost 40 years.
The divorce, filed by famed celebrity attorney Gary Fishbein, cites irreconcilable differences. In the documents, Ron lists May 10, 2019, of the date of the couple's separation.
Perlman married his wife, who is a jewelry designer, on February 14, 1981. The couple shares two children: daughter Blake Perlman (born 1984) and son Brandon (born 1990).
His son also produces electronic music under the name Delroy Edwards.
The divorce filing comes after the 'Sons of Anarchy' star was photographed his 'StartUp' co-star Allison Dunbar outside of a restaurant.
It's was unclear at the time if the photographs were taken on the set of the television show, where the duo stars in opposite roles for the third season of the Sony Crackle series.
The photographs were taken In the photos, leaving the Alexander Steakhouse in Pasadena, California.
Dunbar has shared several photos of herself and Perlman in Instagram photos.
According to reports, when the actress shared a bikini photo of herself, earlier this month, captioned "Hello from my ass," Perlman left a flirty response in her comments: "Hi back!"
In November of 2108, Dunbar shared a video showcasing several photo booth pictures of the two of them smiling at each other. "Me and bish," she captioned the video.
Also, in February, Dunbar shared a photo from a dinner with Perlman and his 35-year-old daughter, Blake. "The Perlmans and the Dunbars. Two dynasties collide over the avocado salad. Love my new friends a lot," she captioned the post.
According to In Touch magazine, Ron and his wife may have somewhat of an "open relationship. The outlet reported, “Everyone thought Ron and his wife lived very separate lives." When it comes to Allison, they added, “I will say this: The blonde actress he’s with now isn’t his usual type. He’d flirt on the set with extras like he was a single man. His wife’s name never came up.”
'Sons of Anarchy' creator Kurt Sutter was fired and removed at the head of the biker reality show franchises after Disney made the move with FX.
In a letter, Sutter blasted Disney for getting rid of him because he was an “abrasive dick.” Sutter then decided to troll the company on social media, while also offering a bit of an apology.
Sutter apologized for making people uncomfortable on the set and made sure his crew knew that his intentions were always good.
“At least being fired for being an abrasive dick is on brand,” Sutter told his cast and crew in his letter. “But clearly I’ve not been paying attention. My arrogance and chronic distraction has created wreckage,” Sutter said.
“Clearly, I ruffled a few mouse ears,” Sutter ended his statement.
Ron Perlman has a history of blasting President Donald Trump, and he is not one to hold back his feeling on any political issues.
The "Sons of Anarchy" star took to Twitter in August to show his displeasure with a comment the Commander and Chief made about Democratic hopeful Beto O'Rourke.
It began with Trump tweeting an insult at O'Rourke after the presidential hopeful called Donald a racist.
"Beto (phony name to indicate Hispanic heritage) O’Rourke, who is embarrassed by my last visit to the Great State of Texas, where I trounced him, and is now even more embarrassed by polling at 1% in the Democrat Primary, should respect the victims & law enforcement - & be quiet!" Trump said in his message.
Perlman responded by retweeted the post with this response, "pathetic and desperate."
