Actress and former TV show host Olivia Munn revealed that she has only love for her postpartum body while waiting for it to snap back. The mother of one welcomed a son with her partner, John Mulaney late last year.

Since giving birth to her son, the 41-year-old has been open concerning her struggles with postpartum and her experience with motherhood. Munn previously revealed that she had issues with breastfeeding despite her many attempts to produce milk.

In a recent post, the former television host said that her body was yet to snap back despite after giving birth to her son, Malcolm. However, because of the singular act of giving birth to her son, Munn admitted that she had only love for it and felt like it was worth it.

Olivia Munn Said Her Postpartum Body Hadn't Snapped Back

Munn recently said that while her body hasn't snapped back since giving birth to her son Malcolm, it was well worth it. The actress posted a video on Instagram on Friday where she talked about how she was handling postpartum.

The Instagram post was an adorable video of the 41-year-old holding her son. She captioned the video, "My body hasn't snapped back but it made this little guy, so I only have love for it." "The postpartum road is rough, but it's so worth it," Munn added as the post's caption.

The former "Daily Show" host welcomed her first child with her boyfriend, Mulaney, late last year, just before Thanksgiving. She previously opened up about her struggles with breastfeeding and the various methods she adopted to produce milk for her child with little success.

Munn Welcomed Her Son In November 2021

Munn and former Saturday Night Live writer Mulaney first met in May 2021. At the time, he was still in the middle of his divorce from Anna Maria Tendler. A month after giving birth to Malcolm, the former tv show host posted the baby's debut on Instagram.

She captioned the post, "My golden Ox baby. Malcolm Hiep Mulaney. Happy Holidays." Since giving birth to her son on November 24, 2021, the actress hasn't shied away from talking about her struggles with postpartum and the realities of motherhood.

In March, Munn revealed that some parts of our body didn't feel the same after the birth, but she was working on them. "My hips still feel wonky from pushing out a human being, my postpartum anxiety is there and horrible, but I got myself up and took my first capoeira lesson today. Getting back to martial art made me feel a little more like myself. I hope I can keep it up," she wrote via her Instagram story.

Munn Shared Her Worries On The Formula Shortage

Early this month, Munn shared a photo on Instagram talking about how she accidentally spilled half of her baby formula in the middle of the nationwide formula shortage. The picture she posted showed her open suitcase with two containers of the precious formula; both had come undone and spilled inside the bag and on the floor.

She captioned the Instagram story, "When there's a formula shortage, and you open your suitcase to find your carefully packed formula has popped open and half of it is now gone." The actress previously addressed the formula shortage in May and how worried she was because she depended on it.

"It's so crazy when people say if you breastfeed you won't have to worry about the formula shortage; I have low milk supply, so to keep my baby fed I depend on formula," she wrote on Twitter. "I wish I could breastfeed so I wouldn't be panicking about the shortage right now. But I don't have a choice."

Olivia Munn Previously Opened Up About Breastfeeding Struggles

The 41-year-old previously talked about her struggles with breastfeeding and the various ways she tried to sort out the issue. In February, Munn opened up to having a "low supply" of milk, which hindered her from nursing her 10-week-old son at the time.

She said she took gummies, lactation cookies, drank liters of coconut milk, and several others. Munn also admitted wearing a "device filled with formula around my neck with tubes talked to my nipples so I could stimulate milk production while giving my baby the nutrients he needs." None of the adopted methods worked, and the actress said she "felt like [her] body was failing."

Via her Instagram, she shared, "I worried I wouldn't bond with my baby, but then I said f--k it." She posted a video of herself nursing her son and encouraged mothers not to feel discouraged despite their methods of feeding their children. "To the mamas out there," she wrote. "Do whatever you need to feed your baby, and don't let anyone make you feel bad about it."
