They go on to say, “The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will unite several of those artists, the Hawkins family, and of course his Foo Fighters brothers in celebration of Taylor’s memory and his legacy as a global rock icon—his bandmates and his inspirations playing the songs that he fell in love with, and the ones he brought to life.”

Many fans are looking forward to the tribute concert to celebrate the life of their late drummer Taylor Hawkins. On March 25, he passed away in a hotel room in Columbia at the age of 50.

Hawkins had called the front desk complaining of chest pain; however, emergency services found him deceased in his hotel room by the time they arrived.  A forensic investigation revealed that there were several different types of drugs in his body, including heroin, antidepressants, and morphine, among others, which likely triggered an overdose.

However, forensic analysts also discovered that Hawkins’ heart weighed 600 grams – double the weight of an average man’s heart – at the time of his death.
