Britney Spears Ensures Husband Sam Asghari Gets None Of Her $60M Fortune With Airtight Prenup

Pop princess Britney Spears is taking no chances as her relationship with model and body-building enthusiast Sam Asghari enters a new phase.
The pair got married last Thursday at the singer's home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., in front of about fifty of their closest friends and celebrities, including Donatella Versace, Madonna, Kathy Hilton, and Paris Hilton.
Spears and Asghari have been dating for years but were unable to go further in their relationship due to the legal restrictions imposed by the "Oops!… I Did It Again" singer's conservatorship.
With that bothersome stumbling block now out of the way, the couple took their relationship to the next level not without Asghari signing an ironclad prenuptial agreement that safeguards Spears' wealth if the marriage should hit the rocks.
Sam Asghari Won't Get A Cent Britney Spears' Money
Before gleefully signing the marriage forms that now legally bind him to Spears, Asgahri had to take care of the unpleasant business of signing a prenuptial agreement before he could walk down the aisle with the singer.
According to the TMZ, Spears' team initiated the legal document soon after Asghari proposed to her, as the gesture of love signaled that the couple was now ready to take their relationship to the next level.
Under the terms of the prenup, if the couple were to divorce later, Sam would not receive a penny of the tens of millions of dollars Britney earned before the wedding, including earnings from her tours, albums, and movie roles.
According to the New York Times, the hitmaker's net worth as of last year was roughly $60 million, a pittance compared to the millions of dollars she was worth when her conservatorship was founded in 2008.
Fans Wanted Britney To Push For A Prenup
Fans descended on Spears' Instagram when Asghari proposed to her last year, with comments pushing her to preserve her rumored $60 million wealth when she marries the personal trainer. The fitness trainer responded to their concerns that he was with Spears just for her money by issuing a post that not only made light of the issue but revealed he was going to sign one.
"Thank you to everyone who is concerned about The prenup!" Asghari posted on his Instagram Story at the time( Via Page Six.)
"Of course, we're getting [an] ironclad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection in case [sic] she dumps me one day," adding two crying-laughing emojis.
Britney's father, Jamie Spears, mother, Lynne Spears, and sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, were all noticeably absent from the wedding, having been left out due to the star's feud with her family over her conservatorship ordeal.
Asghari Happy With The Prenup
Britney's fortunes have dwindled over the years partly due to her unwillingness to go on tour or release new music while still under her strict conservatorship. Her father sought the judicial restraining order after the singer suffered from depression episodes that rendered her unsuitable to manage her personal and professional activities.
Spear may be interested in returning to her music career now that she is no longer under the conservatorship, though she has yet to make any public statements to that effect. If she relaunches her profession, it's unclear if Sam will be able to claim a percentage of whatever money his wife makes while they're married if they ever divorce.
However, Asghari does not appear to be concerned with the complexities of such matters and seems satisfied to have tied the knot with Spears, whom he started dating nearly five years ago.
Britney Spears Had A Prenup In Her Previous Marriage
Making her partners sign a prenuptial agreement before going down the aisle is nothing new for Spears, as she did the same thing with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, with whom she has two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
The singer apparently signed a prenuptial agreement with him before they married, which protected her assets when they divorced more than a decade ago. Federline was only allowed to get $300,000 of Spears' millions in cash and real estate assets under a prenuptial agreement at the time.
The marriage eventually terminated after giving unending tabloid fodder, leading to repeated rumors that the wedding was doomed from the start. After barely two months of dating, Federline publicly proposed to the Grammy winner in June 2004. They married in October of that year and divorced in July 2007.
