Britney Spears Confesses ‘I Had A Panic Attack’ Before Wedding To Sam Asghari

Singer Britney Spears is officially MARRIED!

The “Gimme More” singer first met Iranian actor Sam Asghari on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016 and the two hit it off immediately. Sam popped the question last September and the two finally tied the knot on Thursday, June 9, 2022.

On Friday, Brit took to Instagram to post some snaps of the event and reveal that she had a panic attack before tying the knot!

In the caption, Britney wrote, “Wow !!! Holy holy c--- !!! WE DID IT !!! WE GOT MARRIED ??‍♀️ !!! Gggggeeeeezzzzz !!! It was the most spectacular day !!!”

“I was so nervous all morning but then at 2:00 pm it really hit me … WE’RE GETTING MARRIED ? !!!” she wrote, admitting, “I had a panic attack and then got it together ?? ?   …”

She didn’t say it in the post, but the panic attack might have been caused by her ex, Jason Alexander. The two were married for 55 hours back in January 2004. Jason livestreamed his attempt to enter the wedding and literally announced his intentions to crash the party.

As The Blast previously reported, he was able to make it past security and actually got inside the house before security dragged him back out. He was detained by police and Brit’s lawyer, Mathew Rosenhart, revealed that he plans to press charges.

Fortunately, sources told us that the police stayed on the scene and Britney’s home was turned into a literal castle!

Britney continued, “the crew who created our home into literally a dream castle were fantastic !!! The ceremony was a dream and the party was even better ? !!!”

“So many incredible people came to our wedding and I’m still in shock ? !!!” she said as she began to name them off one by one.

“@drewbarrymore my girl crush and @selenagomez who btw is way prettier in person if that’s possible both came !!!” she wrote. “I was speechless … I kissed @madonna again ??? and we danced ?? into the night with @ParisHilton …”

“Thank you @donatella_versace for designing my dress … I felt so beautiful ? …” she added, although Brit didn’t post many photos of her gown on Instagram. A source told The Blast that Britney wore as many as five outfits throughout the night as she kept switching up her style.

“Thank you also to @StephanieGottlieb @CharlotteTilbury and @sofiatilbury for my jewelry and makeup !!! I think we all fell on the dance floor at least 2 times ? !!!” she joked. “I mean come on … we were all VOGUING !!! @SamAsghari I LOVE YOU !!!”

It looks like all of Britney's friends had a great time celebrating the night as well! Brit did not invite her mom, her dad, or sister Jamie Lynn to the event. Her two teenage sons were also reportedly not in attendance.

On Friday, Paris posted an Instagram carousel full of snaps of the night, saying it was for “#Icons Only ?”

She added, “Had the most incredible time celebrating the fairytale couple???‍♀️??? What a beautiful night!?”
