Singer Britney Spears has been making a lot of headlines in 2022.
After her conservatorship ended in 2021, she celebrated her 40th birthday on December 2. After a few trips to Maui, Mexico, and other exotic retreats, she revealed to the world in April that she was pregnant through an Instagram post.
Unfortunately, in mid-May, she posted an update revealing that same and Sam Asghari lost their “miracle baby” early on in the pregnancy, although they revealed that they’re still interested in growing their family. This week, Brit made headlines as she and Sam tied the knot, although it should be noted that the two teenage sons she shares with ex-boyfriend Kevin Federline were not in attendance.
Britney Spears Has A Net Worth Of $70 Million Dollars!
Although people know the “Womanizer” singer as a singer first and foremost, she’s also an actress that is reportedly worth about $70 million dollars, as per CelebrityNetWorth.com.
Brit has been churning out hits ever since 1999’s “Baby One More Time” and 2000’s “Oops!... I Did It Again.” The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has listed Britney as the 8th top-selling female artist of all time after selling over 100 million albums to date.
It’s reported that she was one of the highest-paid entertainers in the world at the peak of her career and that she brought in $40 million dollars from tours and record sales in 2002 alone.
Britney’s Las Vegas residency between 2013 to 2017 reportedly earned between $350,000 and $500,000 thousand dollars per night, although her world tours have reportedly grossed well over $500 million dollars.
In 2012, she was hired as a judge on “The X Factor” with a salary of $15 million, making her the highest-paid judge on a singing competition in TV history at the time.
As of 2020, Britney has released a total of nine albums: 1999's “…Baby One More Time,” 2000's “Oops!… I Did It Again,” 2001's “Britney,” 2003's “In the Zone,” 2007's “Blackout,” 2008's “Circus,” 2011's “Femme Fatale”, 2013's “Britney Jean,” and 2016's “Glory.”
Britney Spears Has An Impressive Real Estate Portfolio!
After her public breakdown in 2008, a court ordered the “Circus” singer to be placed under a conservatorship and handed over finances to her father, James. In mid-2014, court documents showed that Britney only had a net worth of around $41 million, with $7 million in cash and the rest of the funds in real estate. By 2020, her assets had reportedly increased to around $60 million dollars.
Over the years, Britney has collected a lot of real estate and revealed on Instagram that she was thinking of buying another house. In 2012, she bought a house in Westlake Village for $6.7 million and sold it in 2017.
In 2015, she bought another 21-acre property in Westlake Village that was developed by and named for Sylvester Stallone. The home, named White Stallion Ranch, features a library, game room, tennis court, pool house, infinity pool, wine cellar, and three-hole golf course. The home is estimated to be worth around $10 million dollars.
In 2001, she bought a home in Hollywood Hills at the height of her career but then sold it two years later in 2003 to Brittany Murphy. This is the same home where Murphy tragically passed away.
In 2004, Britney bought a home in Malibu for $6.3 million. She and her ex-husband Kevin Federline got married there in October 2004. She listed the home for sale in 2007 at $13.5 million but sold the home eight months later for only $10 million.
In 1999, just as her star was beginning to rise, she paid less than $30,000 dollars for a 7.4-acre property in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, where her mother now lives.
In 2000, she bought a condo in New York City’s Greenwich Village and bought the building’s 4-floor penthouse two years later. By 2011, she had sold both properties.
It’s not clear where Britney is planning on moving to next, but her intentional fans would love to see her move overseas!
