In the wake of Halsey's canceled concert at the Merriweather Post Pavilion, the "You Should Be Sad" singer expressed disappointment over the stormy mess in a series of tweets.

During the early hours of Thursday morning, the New Jersey native explained the reasons behind the concert's cancellation, noting that every decision they made was in favor of fans.

The Billboard chart-topper began by first apologizing to the entire Maryland concertgoers, stating that if they missed her Instagram Live post, she would also address the situation on Twitter.

The "Halsey: If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power" star claimed they were "heartbroken and panicked" as their primary concern was for everyone at the venue to return home safely.

Although the GLAAD Media Award winner had fans' Best interest at heart, some people criticized the entertainer for not apologizing in person or performing at the flooded venue. In response, the 27-year-old passionately wrote:

"I promise I wanted to more than anything. But I couldn't because it would have been SO unsafe if I went out there and people rushed the stage during or after the storm."

Despite the situation being out of their control, the "Without Me" artist asked for concertgoers' understanding, assuring fans that they would always put their safety first.

In a third tweet, the doting Pop star also acknowledged her devotees' complaints about the concert venue and the poor conduct of the staff members.

"I really want to add that I am beyond disappointed with the way the venue handled everything tonight," Halsey confessed, "and my rescheduled date will be happening somewhere else."

Before the stormy weather ruined the concert, the New Jersey native tweeted an apology to Maryland fans, admitting that she might seem a bit lethargic due to lack of sleep.

According to the three-time Grammy nominee, their brain kept them up at 2 am with the hilarious question, "how fast could you run down a spiral staircase if a murderer was chasing you?"

Nonetheless, the "Sing 2" voice actress's loyal followers were eager to watch their idol perform and even traveled long distances for the opportunity.

Given the efforts of concertgoers, it was not surprising that many of them expressed their dissatisfaction on Twitter following the cancellation of the "Hurricane" artist's show.

One outraged fan protested that the BMI Pop Award winner showed little to no effort in continuing the event after leaving people in the rain for two hours.

The disappointed individual noted that they had similar situations in events hosted by Beyoncé and Kanye "Ye" West, but unlike Halsey, these stars fulfilled their promises.

Another person echoed similar thoughts, claiming that no one was "unsafe" as the rain had stopped after 9:30 pm, yet the entertainer dismissed the pain of those who drove hours to see her.

A third fan asked the 27-year-old to explain why the audience was told they would perform at 9:30 pm instead of canceling the show from the start.

The "Alone" Singer Revealed Their Latest Song Was Being Held Hostage

Last month, The Blast reported that Halsey had called out Astralwerks, their record label, for holding their latest song hostage because of a marketing strategy.

Taking to TikTok, the songstress shared a video of herself looking upset as the unreleased song played in the background while texts explaining the situation flashed across the screen.

The AMA winner revealed that they wished to drop their new song, but their record company would not allow its release until the Pop star faked a viral moment on TikTok.

The New Jersey native confessed that she was tired of the situation and wanted to be treated better by Astralwerks. However, a few critics believed her video could be the marketing strategy Halsey complained about.
