Chaney Jones seems to be putting to bed the rumors that she and rapper Kanye West are no longer together.
A day after the news of their split broke, Jones didn't hesitate to wish the Yeezy Founder, legally now known as Ye, a happy birthday, and she no doubt put a lot of love into her tribute.
Kanye West And Chaney Jones Call It Quits
Yesterday, news broke that Jones and Ye are no longer a couple. Sources confirmed the breakup to TMZ, noting that the pair went their separate ways after returning from a long trip to Japan.
It's unsure who ended things or the reason for the split, but it's hard to say that it wasn't expected given Ye's dating history since his divorce from estranged wife Kim Kardashian.
As you might know, Ye and Jones first became an item almost immediately after the "Donda" rapper ended things with ex-girlfriend Julia Fox.
Although short-lived, only lasting five months, the pair's romance was filled with numerous international trips and a heartwarming tattoo tribute that Jones got for her Grammy Award-winning boo.
Neither Ye nor Jones has publicly confirmed their split, but all the signs are there to see that they are no longer a couple. For one, shortly before the news of their breakup surfaced, the "Flashing Lights" was spotted with a mystery woman at the cinemas catching the newly-released "Top Gun: Maverick" movie.
On the other hand, Jones has scrubbed clean her Instagram page of all images of Ye, leaving just two posts of herself. She remains active on Instagram story and recently showed herself living her best life amid the breakup.
As The Blast reported, the COO of First State Behavioral Health, threw herself a lavish beach picnic post-breakup and gave fans an insight into her day out on her Instagram Story.
The model flaunted her impeccable curves in a bubblegum pink crop top and blue sweat pants, surrounded by flowers and soaking up the sun underneath an umbrella tent.
The Model Wishes Her Ex-Boyfriend A Happy Birthday
Despite deleting all photos of Ye from her Instagram, Jones didn't hesitate to be one of the first people to wish the rapper a happy birthday as he turns 45 on June 8.
In an Instagram Story update, Jones shared a TikTok mashup of her and Ye's heartwarming moments from courtside photos to paparazzi shots of them walking the streets in coordinated black outfits.
Jones sweetly captioned the post, "Happy birthday baby 🖤 I love youuuu." It's unsure what this means for Jones and West as a couple but there's no doubt that she still has a lot of love for him.
Months back, fans speculated that the now-former couple was ending their romance after Jones posted a cryptic post after news surfaced that Ye was checking himself into an institution to work on his mental health.
In a now-deleted post, Jones opened up about wanting to protect her peace. She shared a quote that read, "Always say ‘my peace is more important when you find yourself reacting to something that doesn’t deserve your energy."
Many speculated it was directed at Kanye, but Jones didn't confirm. Instead, she shouted out to the Chicago rapper for his Grammy wins.
He took home two awards for best melodic rap performance and best rap song, and Jones celebrated his wins, writing, "THE BIGGEST 🐐🖤 SO PROUD."
It seemed Ye was touched by her tribute as later that night, Jones flaunted some expensive gifts she got from the rapper. She uploaded a photo of roses and a silver Birkin bag, thanking Ye in the caption.
The Yeezy Founder Sings About Co-parenting
Ye and Jones' breakup comes after the "Flashing Lights" rapper opened up about his co-parenting struggles in a bombshell new song titled, "True Love."
Ye lamented not having enough access to his kids in the lyrics, rapping, "Wait, when you see the kids? I’ll see y’all tomorrow. Wait, when the sunset? I see y’all tomorrow Wait, when I pick ’em up, I feel like they borrowed. When I gotta return them, scan ’em like a bar code."
He also rapped about Kim seemingly refusing to dress the kids in Yeezy, settling for Nike instead. "Wait, why they can’t wear Yeezys with the cargos? Y’all know Nike don’t like me, y’all take it too far though," the father-of-four rapped.
