Dog The Bounty Hunter's Daughter Lyssa Chapman Marries GF In Bikini Tops & Jean Shorts!

On Tuesday morning, Lyssa Chapman told the world that she was officially married to her girlfriend, Leiana Evensen, who she calls “Lei.”

Chapman is the daughter of Dog the Bounty Hunter, who didn’t seem to be in attendance at a beautiful wedding ceremony in Hawaii. The two have been together for five years and finally decided to tie the knot last week.

“?? June 3, 2022 ??” Chapman wrote next to a series of snaps from their wedding she posted on Instagram. If you’re thinking that it doesn’t look like there are many people in the wedding party, you’d be right. Lyssa revealed that they boarded a boat at 7 AM that morning with “7 of our closest family members and we dedicated our love and lives to one another. ? ?”

Fortunately, weather conditions were better than good – Lyssa described them as “epic” and called the water “a glassy mirror.” She added, “We had a sprinkle of rain, (blessing) and as we came upon our spot, we were blessed again by a school of baby sharks (do do do do do do). ? ? ?”

“With our feet in the water, we connected ourselves to the power and vastness of the ocean,” she continued. We [were] hugged by the majestic Ko’olau mountain range, that will continue hugging us as we live and spend the rest of our lives together at Makaalamihi. There, with uncle David officiating, we stated our declarations of intent, said our vows and began life together OFFICIALLY as wife, and wife. ??‍❤️‍?‍??”

Lyssa wrote that she is “now a forever part of the Evensen ohana and I couldn’t be more proud. Thank you for loving me and my girls and accepting us into your family with open arms and hearts. ?”

Apparently, this has been in the works for quite a while, as she thanked everyone who “kept this day secret.” She plugged Wesley at @lovealwaysweddingshawaii to help plan the day, the beautiful flowers from Jess at @puakaiefloristry, and additional Lei po’o from @thehappyhaku.

Lyssa called it “literally a dream day” and said that “the best part” of the day is that Lei is now her “freaking WIFE !!” The former bail bondswoman said that she’s feeling “so happy, blessed, filled with love and gratitude.”

“I never thought I was worthy or capable of this kind of love,” she added. “The vibration I feel in my body hasn’t stopped since I met her and if you’re reading this from a dark place know that your happy beginning is out there somewhere too. ?”

“So much more to come,” she added. “Thank you all for being here for our journey. ? I love you forever my wife. ♾ ?? ??️‍?”

In the hashtags, the 34-year-old TV personality jokingly added #LyssaGotLeid, #HappyBeginning, and #LGBT, which makes it all the more fitting that she got married during Pride Month!

In an interview with AmoMama last year, Lyssa Chapman revealed that they were immediately drawn to each other when they met, in part because they were born on the same day! They quickly discovered that they had “similar morals” and wanted the same thing out of life, mainly “epic adventures.”

In December 2017, Lei had popped the question during a trip to Seattle. Although they hadn’t decided on a date at the time, they already dreamed of having an ocean wedding where they would tie their knots in their bathing suits. On June 3, 2022, it seems that they had finally gotten to live out their dreams!

Chapman has previously married to Brahman Galanti from 2009 to 2011. She has two children: Abbie Mae Chapman and Madalynn Grace Galanti. Galanti is also a native of Hawaii. Chapman had filed for divorce in February 2011 after she claimed that he had been abusive towards her on multiple occasions.

When AmoMama asked Lyssa about the differences between Lei and her previous partner, she said that Lei is “much more relaxed.”
