Love Is In The Air: Becca Kufrin & Thomas Jacobs Celebrate Engagement!

Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs are still busy basking in the glow of being newly engaged to the point where nothing can disrupt their happiness!

Especially those who are weighing in on the couple's ultra-romantic proposal moment many believe to be unconventional.

The former 'Bachelorette' recently popped the question to her partner of nearly a year and the couple continued celebrating their engagement by announcing their happy news on their respective Insta accounts over Memorial Day weekend.

The twosome is taking a break from their blissful engaged couple cocoon to chat with their fellow Bachelor Nation friends about the special moment.

Jacobs joined his new fiancée on Bachelor Happy Hour, the podcast she co-hosts with fellow 'Bachelorette' alumna Michelle Young and the duo dished on all things engagement-related, especially their critics.

Despite receiving their fair share of congratulatory comments from fans on their engagement, there are still those critics out there who wish Jacobs had been the one to ask Kufrin to marry him.

In response to the naysayer crowd, Kufrin told Young and Bachelor Nation, "I've also seen comments where people are like, 'she's desperate.' 'I would never let a woman propose to the man.' 'I would never do this,' she said, showcasing a snippet of the negative responses her proposal has received. (via People.)

"And, it's like, cool, that's you. But why does it, as a female, make me desperate to want to [propose] to somebody?" she continued.

"If Thomas in a week were to do the exact same thing, no one says he's desperate. It doesn't make sense to me. The logic's not there."

The couple has been envisioning their special moment for a long time now; the desire for a proposal in the couple's future has been on Kufrin and Jacobs' minds for a long time, so why not go all in and make their engagement moment unique to them?

The Blast shared one of the ways the couple had pictured their special moment in the past! Kufrin had revealed to her 'Bachelorette' bestie how Jacobs had previously joked about using a paperclip to act as a ring!

Kufrin went on to reveal her man would have given his blessing to the idea of her being the one to take the reins on proposing.

She told Young, "I knew that he would be so appreciative and supportive of it. He would never be offended if the female proposed to the man. So it's like, why should it matter who does it?"

Jacobs seemed to be feeling no less than ecstatic about the proposal!

He called his bride-to-be's decision to ask if he would spend 'forever' with her "The ultimate UNO reverse card/power move" in the caption of his Instagram post announcing the engagement.

Jacobs went on to detail how thrilled those closest to the couple were to learn the news in the couple's latest "Bachelor Happy Hour" interview, revealing, "There was a common two words that were always said whenever we told my family and friends," he shared. "It was, 'No way.' That's awesome."

Being betrothed to Kufrin is just the beginning of Jacobs' happily ever after! The groom-to-be said he "felt very fortunate" to have received those reactions from loved ones.

"I'm even more fortunate that it's with [Becca]. And I'm just excited for this life, y'know?" he shared.

Hopefully, Bachelor Nation will be able to get a glimpse into Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs' journey to wedded bliss on an episode of the upcoming season of "The Bachelorette!"
