Netflix's 'All Of Us Are Dead' Is Brought Back To Life For A Second Season

The Netflix series “All of Us Are Dead” has been resurrected for a second season at Netflix.
On Monday, Deadline reported that the streaming giant had renewed the popular Korean zombie drama series for a second season on Day 1 of Netflix’s Geeked Week.

The synopsis for the show reads: “Trapped students must escape their high school which has become ground zero for a zombie virus outbreak.” The 12-episode first season aired on January 28, 2022, and focused on a group of students trying to escape from their high school in the wake of a zombie invasion. During their struggles, they make the troubling realization that not all students who are bitten lose their consciousness, which creates both deadly foes and new allies.
Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su serve as both the show’s creators and directors. Lee JQ servers as the showrunner and Chun Sung-il serves as a writer. The cast includes Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, Yoo In-soo, Lim Jae-hyeok and Lee You-mi.
Korean Zombie Series Pulled In Over 361.02 Million Viewing Hours In 10 Days
As Deadline reported, the zombie series hit the number one spot on Netflix’s U.S. Daily Top 10 list on the seventh day of its release. It followed the success of its dystopian Korean predecessor, “Squid Game,” which hit the number one spot only four days into its release.
After its debut, the show jumped to the Top 10 Most Watched Non-English TV series in 91 countries and held those numbers for two consecutive weeks. In the first ten days, “All Of Us Are Dead” also managed to pull in over 361.02 million viewing hours.

On Monday, Netflix released a 17-second long teaser for the show’s second season. However, it only showed a bunch of zombies screaming and clawing at the camera before it dissolved into the name of the series. It gave no hints as to the fate of the characters or how much time has passed before the first and second season.
“Can we meet the survivors of Hyosan High again?” they asked in the description. “All of us are dead is returning for Season 2.”
Fans anxiously awaited the return of the second season.
“I hope it's just as good as the first,” one fan wrote. “Zombie series tend to struggle after the initial impact of introducing the infection in the first season. Hope it's another killer season though!”
“Absolutely hyped for the return of this show!” another user shared.
“What a great show that’s filled with sadness, anger, hopelessness, crazy action, and a bit of comedy,” another user wrote. “I can’t wait for this, every character is likable, even Gwi Nam! My favorite character is Mi-Jin, I’m her number one supporter.”
“I hope chaeng-son comes back as a half zombie!” another user shared. “He was 1 of the main characters, and i hope to see him continue to be as well as the surviving students. SO EXCITED.”
“Yeeeeeees! I really thought this might be a one and done show and was gutted because I absolutely loved the first season and what it set up,” another shared.
“Omg yes!! So excited,” another wrote. “Nam Ra's storyline about half-human and half-zombie breeds could be a very good start.”
At this time, a release date for season 2 of “All Of Us Are Dead” has yet to be revealed.
