Actress Jenna Ushkowitz and her husband have achieved another milestone. 

The pair initially met on a hinge date in 2018, and after dating for two years, they got engaged in 2020. In July 2021, the duo tied the nuptial knot and got hitched in an outdoor ceremony in Los Angeles, surrounded by family and friends.

Very recently, the "Glee" star added mother to her resume as she announced the birth of her first child with her husband, David Stanley. Read on for more details on the star and her newborn.

'Our Hearts Have Burst Wide Open'

On June 3, The "Glee" actress took to Instagram to announce the birth of her new baby. She shared a black-and-white photo of herself cradling the newborn and tagged her husband. She also donned the hospital gown and had a "mama" necklace on in the picture.

"Our hearts have burst wide open," she captioned the Instagram post, adding a love emoji. She also thanked the jewelry vendor for "the mama necklace to welcome the baby into the world @efcollection."

After sharing the birth announcement, she posted a boomerang of a sushi dinner on her Instagram, captioning, "I waited ten long months for this."

The pair had previously shared that they were expecting their first child and revealed that they were expecting a girl. The couple posed while cradling Ushkowitz's baby bump and flashing smiles for the camera in the Instagram post.

"Our hearts are so full. Baby Girl Stanley coming in June," she captioned, adding a love emoji.

Her celebrity friends wasted no time flooding the comment section with good wishes and messages of congratulations. While "Glee" alum Max Adler added, "Congrats!!!!!" while "Fuller House" star Marla Sokoloff wrote, "I. AM. SO. HERE. FOR. THIS."

Ushkowitz continued to show off her pregnancy progress on her feed as she played tennis in February and yoga in the next month.

The "Glee" star was looking for tricks to turn her 'breech" baby by May.

When you try any of the tricks," Ushkowitz captioned along with a video of herself doing a handstand in a pool before flipping. "Turn, baby, turn," she continued the caption.

They Tied The Nuptial Knot In 2021

Ushkowitz and her husband tied the knot in a romantic outdoor ceremony in Los Angeles with family and loved ones present. 

For her special day, the "Once On This Island" producer donned an elegant strapless gown by Kinsley James Couture Bridal and Netta BenShabu. On the other hand, her husband opted for a tuxedo from Hugo Boss.

"We always dreamed of a wedding on the smaller side, but with COVID, we definitely had to scale back more than we anticipated," the actress shared with Brides of her wedding ceremony, per People.

She concluded, "Having our closest family and loved ones there (safely) was a priority for us. By setting the expectation from the get-go that we had to limit guests, we were able to focus our planning and ensure that we could stay flexible in case any element of the day needed to change."

The ceremony came after the pair celebrated a major milestone in their relationship: their third year of being together.

"Three years. Thank you for choosing me," the actress captioned along with a smiling image of the duo and their cute French bulldog, Bear.

"I look forward to a lifetime of your cheesy puns, competitive game nights, lazy morning Harry Potter marathons, wine tastings, new restaurant discoveries, walks with Bear and seeing the world with you," she continued. "Much more to come. I love you so much."

The Pair Met In 2018

The duo met in 2018 while on the dating app hinge. Following that, Stanley proposed to the South-Korean native in August of the next year. The singer posted a selfie showing her engagement ring and captioned it, "yes, a million times, yes,"

After the engagement, the pair moved in and eventually got a house together.

"We are so excited to start this new chapter," the Broadway star shared with her Instagram followers. "We're about to embark on a journey of moving + lots of home organizing and renovations," she concluded, per UsWeekly.

She Decided To Preserve Her Baby's Cord And Cord Blood 

A month before the baby's arrival, the actress opened up about how she prepared for the arrival of her baby girl.

"As we get closer to meeting our baby girl, I'm thinking about all the choices I'll have to make as a new mom and the ones I have to make before she even arrives. We decided to preserve our baby's cord blood and cord tissue at birth. In times like these where there are so many unknowns, my family can rest easy knowing that we are doing everything we can for our daughter's and family's future health," she concluded, per PopSugar.
