Michael B. Jordan And Lori Harvey End Relationship After Whirlwind Romance!

AFTER DATING FOR A YEAR, Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey became one of Hollywood's most super cool couples, gaining more admirers on their social media accounts who flocked in to see new glimpses of their relationship.

However, all that love and romance seems to have dissipated, as the two are rumored to have broken up. Insiders close to the pair have reported that the "Creed" star and Steve Harvey's daughter are devastated but still have great affection for one other.

In March, Jordan and Lori recently starred on the red carpet of the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and the actor's Instagram account still retains pictures from the event. Lori, on the other hand, was fast to destroy lovely recollections of the 35-year-old actor and has received backlash from social media users for her commitment troubles.

In a chat with People, a source close to the ex-love birds confirmed that the couple has called it quits on their almost two-year relationship.

"Michael and Lori are both completely heartbroken," the source said. "They still love each other."

"Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term. He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time," continued the insider. "They had great times together and brought out the best in each other."

While the insider did not share any details as to when the ex-couple started having trouble in their paradise nor the reason for the spit, fans of both stars perceived something was up when model Harvey appeared solo on the red carpet for a screening of Michel Hazanavicius's zombie comedy film, "Final Cut" at the Cannes Film Festival last month on May 17.

Jordan and Lori had previously made their red carpet debut at the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills on March 27, but given their emotional split, they would no longer attend such events together.

Lori, the adopted daughter of comedian Steve Harvey and the daughter of Marjorie Harvey (née Bridges), revealed information about her love affair with Jordan on "The Real" back in September.

"We just really balance each other," she gushed in the interview. "I really do believe in the statement when they say, 'When you know you know.' And I think that really applies to our situation and we just have a really good time together."

Likewise, last December, Jordan told The Hollywood Reporter that in his relationship with Harvey, he "finally found what love was." The action star also stated why he felt at ease discussing his personal life in public

"When I was younger, I don't know if I could have handled the onslaught of opinions and being picked apart, and also being conscious of what the other person's going to go through. It takes a special person to deal with that."

Since the news broke, the couple has been tight-lipped about the reasons for their breakup. However, on social media, fans have berated the skincare enthusiast for her lack of commitment in such relationships.

One fan said, "Awe I was rooting for them! Cute couple! My girl Lori said .. on to the next one!! It's been real lol!"

Another follower said, "Me acting shock [sic] like people we knew this it took a little bit but eventually boom it was just a long date for her. MJ you have like 98% of women in the world you be Ight my boy. "

In the meanwhile, Jordan will star in the third installment of the American sports drama film "Creed." The film, based on a plot idea by Ryan Coogler and a screenplay by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin, will see the "A Journal for Jordan" actor make his directorial debut after he initially acted in the franchise in 2015.

Jordan will make his return as "Adonis "Donnie" Creed," with Tessa Thompson reprising her part as Bianca Taylor, his lover. Jordan's character arch-nemesis will be played by Jonathan Majors, with Phylicia Rashad, Wood Harris, and Florian Munteanu, as well as Selenis Leyva, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Spence Moore II, and Mila Davis-Kent rounding out the cast.

Sylvester Stallone, who starred in the previous versions, would be absent this time but contribute from behind the scenes as a producer. The film is slated for theatrical release on November 23, 2022.
