Billie Eilish may no longer be “Happier Than Ever” now that her boyfriend Matthew Tyler Vorce has announced their breakup on Instagram.
Rumors of cheating are at the forefront as the reason for the breakup – but was it Vorce or Eilish who cheated? Or was it something else that caused the end of the relationship?
Billie Eilish And Matthew Tyler Vorce's Relationship Was Once On Fire
It wasn't that long ago that the former lovers were very much in love as The Blast learned EXCLUSIVELY when they were at the Variety Hitmakers Brunch in December of 2021, that they were all over each other. We were told that there were endless kissing sessions, lots of hand-holding, and even butt-grabbing. As the event continued, they continued sharing endless PDA.
Eilish, who usually is private in her relationships wasn't so private at this event and it seemed all was going well until Vorce went to Instagram on May 31st, 2022 to tell his side of the story on their breakup.
The two who have been dating for a while were first seen by many in April of 2021 when they were photographed walking Billie's pit bull, Shark, and grabbing coffee. The rumors of their relationship with each other picked up quickly after that.
They were also seen at Disneyland and apparently were 'inseparable' at a birthday party for Doja Cat last year but have mostly remained private.
But it hasn't been all joyful for the couple as there have since been recent rumors of his alleged cheating on Eilish via social media posts that now have led to the end of their relationship, and what Vorce has explained about the break up is completely different altogether from these rampant rumors.
Matthew Tyler Vorce Explains His Side Of The Break-Up
Vorce voiced his concerns about the rumors and confirmed the breakup with Eilish on his Instagram Story saying, “Nobody cheated on anyone. Relationships end. Simple as that. Creating rumors and LYING on the internet is dangerous.”
That apparently wasn't enough for Eilish's fanbase that still attacked Vorce and accused the actor of cheating where he had to vent out against them all by saying, “The fact that thousands of people take time out of their day to write the most heinous things on someone they will never know posts is the most cowardly thing you can do."
Whoever might be in the wrong here, this isn't the first time Vorce has had to explain himself on his Instagram Story while being with Eilish. Once they started dating, offensive and racially and homophobic charged posts came to light that had him have to apologize saying, "I want to apologize for the things that I wrote on social media in the past. The language I used was hurtful and irresponsible and I understand how offensive those words are. Whether it was a lyric, a quote or just me being dumb, it does not matter. I am ashamed and deeply sorry that I used them in any context. It is not how I was raised and it is not what I stand for. I shouldn't have used this language in the first place and I won't use it again. I am so sorry for the hurt I have caused. I take full responsibility and continue to hold myself accountable for my actions."
But back to the breakup, whomever is to blame it is always a sad day when once loving couples fall out of love and this is no different.
The Blast has reached out for comment from Billie Eilish's camp, we have yet to get a response.
