Becca Kufrin's tagline for her season of "The Bachelorette" may have been "Let's do the da*n thing!" In her case, 'doing the da*n thing' applies to waiting for her 'Mr. Right' no matter how long (or how public) her search may have been!

Over Memorial Day weekend, Kufrin announced her engagement to boyfriend Thomas Jacobs, whom she met during last year's "Bachelor In Paradise" season.

Let's just say she certainly 'did the da*n thing': Instead of taking the more traditional route, (also one she has experienced on live TV twice before), she popped the question to Jacobs!

Getting engaged was a huge milestone on the couple's list. They both have been vocal about their desire to seal the deal and make their relationship official!

Kufrin's unique approach to proposing wasn't the first time she and Jacobs had explored the idea of asking the big question. The Blast recently detailed how Kufrin spoke of Jacobs' 'jokingly proposing' to her as she previously dished to her "Bachelor Happy Hour" co-host, Michelle Young.

The bride-to-be spilled that her now-fiance had gotten crafty with proposal ideas.

"He, like, jokingly proposed with a paper clip ring once. And I was like, 'I would say yes to this paper clip ring, except it cuts my finger all of the time," she told Young during a 'BHH' episode, per People Magazine.

All About The Swoon-Worthy Way Kufrin Proposed

There wasn't any reason for the newly engaged couple to keep any band-aids on hand during their magical moment!

Kufrin's ecstatic engagement announcement captured every detail of their special day.

The blushing 'Bachelorette' bride recalled each romantic aspect of their dreamy engagement in her Instagram post; she had tagged every company involved in making the couple's engagement photos come to life, including her sparkling wine company Drink Bourdon.

"In the ultimate plot twist...," she began the post, "HE SAID YES!"

Kufrin's decision to propose to Jacobs wasn't the only way she seized the moment to keep their engagement quiet for a bit. She let fans know the couple had kept the milestone within their inner circle for a bit before going public.

The effort the couple took to make sure their engagement remained private had not only been a far cry from Kufrin's previous two televised engagements or her and Jacobs' break-up on "Bachelor In Paradise," but also her 2018 break-up with 'Bachelor' Arie Luyendyk Jr. where every single devastating moment had been captured on camera, unofficially kicking off a series of broken Bachelor Nation engagements and break-ups where the broken-hearted babe had coincidentally been wearing blue.

Here's To 'Happily Ever After!'

Kufrin's days of 'break-up blue' are long gone!

The man who had won her heart also commemorated their engagement on his Instagram.

"The ultimate UNO reverse card/power move," Jacobs said of his fiancee's decision to pop the question. "You keeping me on my toes for a lifetime has a nice ring to it. Cheers to forever, Boops!" the caption to his Instagram post read. (via E!)

While it may be too early for Kufrin and Jacobs to announce any concrete wedding plans, it's safe to assume there will be many members of Bachelor Nation on the guest list; the couple received many well wishes in the comments of their Instagram posts from their friends and a few former "Bachelor In Paradise" castmates.

Nick Viall commented on Jacobs' post, "Congrats to the both of you! One of my favorite redemption arcs!"
