Over the weekend, Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance in the city of Sheffield to perform with Jeff Beck, who is currently touring through the U.K.

As reported by Deadline, who compiled a list of videos about the event, the two performed their 2020 collaboration “Isolation,” which is a remake of the John Lennon song released in 1979. If that wasn’t enough, they also performed covers of Marvin Gay’s “What’s Going On” and Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing.”

It’s rumored that Depp might join Beck at London’s Royal Albert Hall on May 30 and 31.

Fans were delighted to see the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor back on stage performing. Although he has become best-known to fans for his film roles, Depp started his career as a musician. In 2015, he formed the group Hollywood Vampire with Joe Perry and Alice Cooper.

Depp was back on stage at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall only one day after he appeared to fans in Sheffield.

“He came knocking on my dressing room door about five years ago and we haven’t stopped laughing since,” Beck said, adding, “We kept it quiet for obvious reasons, but here it is.”

Jury Verdict Can Be Delivered Sometime This Week

It’s not clear when the jury will reach a verdict, given the years of photo, audio, and video evidence they have to sort through. The jury must decide if Depp’s ex-wife, Amber Heard, defamed him in her 2018 op-ed where she declares herself a victim of domestic violence. Although she doesn’t name him in the op-ed, Depp says he lost out on several movie roles due to the “clear implication” that he’s her abuser and is suing her for $50 million dollars.

Heard, meanwhile, came out swinging against Depp and accused him of physical, sexual, emotional, and psychological abuse. In addition to posting photos of her bruises for the jury to see, Heard also got emotional on the stand while recalling a time that Depp allegedly penetrated her with a bottle of alcohol while they were in Australia; Depp was filming “Pirates 5” at the time. Heard is seeking $100 million after one of Depp’s attorneys labeled her abuse claim as a “hoax.”

Although Depp has clearly swayed the court of public opinion, it seems that this is a trial that no one might win, with or without the jury’s verdict. Although fans praised Depp for being cool – and even cracking a few jokes – while on the stand, Depp’s angry text messages have some fans seeing a different side of “The Lone Ranger” actor.

In October 2016, after their divorce proceedings, Depp texted his longtime friend Isaac Baruch, “Hopefully that c---‘s rotting corpse is decomposing in the f---ing trunk of a Honda Civic!!”

Other texts included violent depictions of violence toward Heard, including drowning and burning. Another text read, “I will f--- her burnt corpse afterward to make sure she is dead.”

While on the stand, Depp admitted that he was “not proud of any of the language that I used” in the shocking text messages.

However, Heard hasn’t gotten out of this unscathed, either. In audio clips played for the jury, Heard can be heard admitting to striking Depp.

“You didn't get punched; you got hit. I'm sorry I hit you like this, but I did not punch you,” she can be heard telling Depp during one of their arguments. “I did not f-----g deck you. I f-----g was hitting you. I don't know what the motion of my actual hand was. But you're fine. I did not hurt you. I did not punch you. I was hitting you.”

“I'm not sitting here b----ing about it, am I?” she asked. “You are. That's the difference between me and you. You're a f-----g baby. You are such a baby. Grow the f--- up, Johnny."

Depp insisted on his first day of the stand that he has never struck any women, whereas Heard has insisted that Depp hit her so many times to count. It’s unclear when a verdict will be passed down, but it could be as early as today. Many legal experts feel that a verdict will come by at least Friday.
