Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews are getting ready to welcome a new teammate!

A year after welcoming their precious blue-eyed angel Sterling Skye into the world in February 2021, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his beautiful wife have a new bun in the oven.

The NFL star and the physical trainer recently announced that they are expecting a second child in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, May 29.

Taking to Instagram, the proud parents revealed they were expanding their family with three heartwarming images featuring the spouses and their daughter.

In the adorable photos, the couple enjoyed the sunny day outside, posing on the grass with Sterling, who sat in-between her parents holding a sign that read "Big Sister Duties Coming Soon."

Following the theme of the big announcement, the toddler wore a pink outfit designed with the words, "I have a secret to tell you," while her parents wore matching ensembles.

Mahomes and Matthews rocked beige shirts and ripped blue jeans, looking in love as they smiled directly into the camera.

For the second image, the lovebirds gazed affectionately at their cute baby girl, who continued to hold up the sign with her mother's supporting arm.
