No foul play was suspected and no further details have been shared about the cause of death. While making his last film, Liotta was surrounded by love as he has Nittolo by his side.

The pair traveled to the Dominican Republic together and in some of his last photos, he was seen holding her hand as they ran errands.

Liotta and Nittolo got engaged in 2020 and were set to walk down the aisle together soon. In December 2020, the New Jersey native shared the news of their engagement via a social media post.

He wrote, "Christmas wishes do come true. I asked the love of my life to marry me, and thank God she said yes!!!"

During a 2021 appearance on "Live with Kelly and Ryan," the late star revealed that he met Nittolo through his only daughter, Karsen.

Apparently, Karsen set her father up during a party they attended and the rest is history. Unlike her late fiancé, Nittolo kept a low profile so not much is known about her.

However, from her social media profiles, it is known that she is 47 years old and resides in Malibu. Despite their 20-year-age gap, the pair shared a close bond and never shied away from showing each other off on social media.

Nittolo, who is believed to hold a managerial position, has four children from previous relationships — Dax, 24, son Chazz, 22, daughter Jade, 19, and son Joey, 11.
