Yara Shahidi is officially a college graduate!

The sensational actress, who rose to prominence with her exceptional performance as Zoey Johnson in the hit sitcom series "Black-ish," recently achieved a new milestone.

On Thursday, May 26, the 22-year-old entertainer graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and proudly celebrated this outstanding feat on social media.

When it comes to being a great actress, Shahidi has proven her worth as a TV star with several accolades under her belt. Now, the young woman is showing the world that her beauty matched her brain.

Following her recent graduation from one of the world's most prestigious universities, the social activist blessed her 7.1 million Instagram followers with snaps from the memorable day.

The "Imagine That" actress shared two pictures of herself rocking a gorgeous custom-made two-piece suit by the fashion brand Dior.

In the first slide, the Hollywood sensation captured only her head to shoulders, giving the camera a stunning smile while rocking a black graduation cap on her shoulder-length curls.

The 22-year-old kept her makeup minimal, letting her natural beauty shine as she posed in front of the University's flag, which like her outfit, featured white and crimson red colors.

In the second slide, Shahidi gave fans a good view of her Dior suit consisting of a white collared shirt, a red suit jacket designed with six black buttons, and a matching mini red skirt.

The "grown-ish" star completed this sophisticated look with her oversized graduation gown but donned the black garment without its complimentary cap.

The college graduate captioned this heartwarming post with a funny play on words, using her name. The caption read:

"Yara (noun): a Harvard graduate. #ITSOFFICIAL #CLASSOF2022 ?: @paulmardyphotography."

Naturally, several fans and celebrities acknowledged the Minnesota native's accomplishment by singing her praises.

The star-studded list included the actor Bernard David Jones, artist Rachel Crow, media personality Kahlana Barfield Brown, plus Shahidi's TV family Marcus Scribner from "Black-ish" and Diggy Simmons from "Grown-ish."

The celebrations did not end there as the BET YoungStars Award winner's parents honored their daughter with sweet posts on Instagram.

Afshin, the patriarch of the Shahidi family, commemorated the event with a picture of himself posing with the Harvard graduate, who donned her black cap, gown, and a stole draped over her shoulders.

In his caption, the proud father gushed about how surreal it felt to see his daughter transform from a "delicate petal" to a blooming flower.

The doting parent was not alone in his sentiments as his wife, Keri Shahidi, paid tribute to their beloved daughter by sharing a picture of the actress's complete Dior custom-made outfit.

In the image, the social activist flaunted her flawlessly toned legs in heeled sandals while posing in front of a flight of stairs at the University.

Before her big day arrived, "The Sun Is Also A Star" actress happily kept fans aware of the joyous affair by counting the days on her Instagram page.

On Tuesday, May 24, the entertainer dropped a throwback image of her younger self flashing a peace sign alongside a message that noted her graduation would occur in two days.

On Wednesday, the "Smallfoot" voice actress shared a beautiful picture of herself in a black graduation gown alongside her mother. The latter rocked a black long-sleeve maxi dress designed with colorful patterns.

In another post, the Eighteen x 18 founder traded her graduation gown for a mini orange dress and Jean jacket, posing next to her younger brothers, Sayeed and Ehsan.

What The Young Actress PlanS On Doing Next

During a candid interview with Vogue, Shahidi told the publication that it felt surreal after achieving her childhood dream of going to college.

Now that she has completed her studies in Harvard's Social Studies & African American department, the 22-year-old plans on taking on more acting projects.

According to the "Trollhunters" voice actress, she could not wait to pour her full attention into her career, noting that schoolwork previously took up most of her time.

On the same note, the intelligent young woman wished to further her education, explaining that her academic passions lay in studying history, especially the past and possible futures.
