Fans of Indiana Ford will be excited to learn that Harrison Ford made an in-person appearance at Star Wars Celebration on Thursday to announce the release date of Indiana Jones 5.
The still-untitled movie will be Ford’s last run as Indiana Jones. He told the live audience in Anaheim, California, that the film is almost done and will again feature the score of John Williams. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until June 30, 2023, before they can run to theaters to see it.

Believe it or not, John Williams was actually there to play live. He led a full orchestra in the first live performance of the “Obi-Wan Kenobi” theme song, which is available to stream on Disney+. Williams rarely writes for television but composed the score for the latest Disney+ series, which is currently available to stream.
Although fans can currently watch the first two episodes of “Obi-Wan Kenobi” on Disney+, they’ve been waiting quite a while – and will still have to wait over a year – before they can watch “Indiana Jones 5” in theaters.
The film was originally scheduled for a July 10, 2020 release date. It got rescheduled to July 29, 2022, but the COVID-19 pandemic pushed back production. In addition, Ford hurt his shoulder rehearsing a fight scene in Italy and had to take the summer off. He returned to production in October. Filming wrapped last February.
The cast also stars “Fleabag” star Phoebe Waller-Bridge and “Hannibal” actor Mads Mikkelsen. Steven Spielberg had originally been tapped to direct, but James Mangold later took over production. Mangold had previously worked with Ford on “Call of the Wild.”

Fans at Star Wars Celebration got to get the good news concerning their favorite Star Wars projects in person. The upcoming "Andor" series is coming to Disney+ on August 31. Season 2 of the series has been confirmed and is expected to start production this fall. It was said that the final scene of season 2 will lead right into 2016's "Rogue One," so it's unlikely that "Andor" will receive a third series.

Fans of Jude Law are excited to see him joining a galaxy far, far away! Law will be appearing in an original Star Wars series titled "Skeleton Crew." The working title, Grammar Rodeo, was a reference to an episode of "The Simpsons." The show will star four kids, each about ten years old, although Watts noted at the panel that although the show stars four kids, it's not a kid's show.
